I feel I should add that the scraping from the Gua Sha tool wasn't relaxing like the massage and hot stone treatment. In fact it was a bit painful, but well worth it! She is able to get to the root cause of a muscular issue. For example, my leg has been through it, everything from a major break requiring hardware to extensive overtraining with a well meaning Personal Trainer which led to the overdevelopment of some muscles and the under development of others. The combined imbalance in the muscle development causes significant cramping upon any exertion. It takes time, but Michelle is able to get the muscles into a cooperative and functional state. I always sleep really well the night after an appointment, because I don't have to deal with the continuous nocturnal cramping. I actually can sleep without fear of being painfully catapulted from my sleep while my leg muscle balls to the point where my tendons feel like they're going to rip right off my bones.
