After paying out of pocket, we later found out the insurance reimbursement situation was not nearly as straightforward as they implied. Communication became inconsistent, and we felt like the financial details were not fully explained ahead of time. What was presented initially ended up feeling like a bait-and-switch situation once payment had already been made. The actual orthodontic care may be fine, but families deserve complete transparency about insurance, billing, and reimbursement before committing to expensive treatment plans. We would have made different decisions if the process had been honestly explained from the beginning.

We also really appreciated that Dr. Bedont recently advised that we may *not* need some treatment that he had previously told us may be coming -- that is the sort of advice that you need from someone you can trust.
