Dr. Sierk began monitoring my kid's teeth in elementary school, as permanent teeth came out. Dr. Sierk's game plan for both kids was extremely well planned and well communicated. Dr. Sierk always explained at each appt to the kids - what he was doing, what my kids needed to do and how much longer it would be, if they followed his directions. By the time their friends were getting braces on, my kids were already getting their braces off and in record overall time. The kids needed retainer replacements and each time we were able to receive services in a timely manner. Tigard Office has a game room (not just for kids) - old school games like Ms. Pac Man, Donkey Kong, Galaga are our favs. West Linn Office has movies and games too - but if you have an appt, barely any wait time before you are seen. Both locations offer FREE personalized mouth guards event days each year for ALL student athletes - even if you are not a Sierk patient.

I did the usual background research, asking for references from friends and neighbors, scheduling consultations and then checking the finalists records with the dental board. I was down to two orthodontists in West Linn and let my son, the patient, make the final choice. The treatment plans were almost identical, so it really came down to where he felt more comfortable. He decided to go with Dr. Sierk and so far we have both been pleased with the results. This is a modern clinic in the West Linn Central Village. Not only has the care been great (nice mix of professionalism, kindness and humor), but the transactional elements have been outstanding. We both felt very well informed about the process and what to expect and they presented tutorials on brushing, flossing, etc. on an iPad. I use a flexible spending account through my employer and it is a constant source of irritation to me. I have to present itemized receipts for every transaction. When I mentioned that to the staff here, they gave me all of the necessary paperwork up front with helpful post-it notes like, "Submit this first", "Submit second if they lose the first or need clarification, but not at the same time." Worked like a charm. Another bonus is that Dr. Sierk provides local kids (patients or not) with mouthguards prior to the football season. They are made from impressions of their teeth, so they are far superior to the generic kind. I'm a fan of his version of community outreach. Convenient location and early morning appointments, so they don't interfere with our school and work routines. Comfortable waiting area for the parents and kids with lots of magazines and electronics for them to enjoy while they wait. I remember my own orthodontic care as a bit of a traumatic experience. Happily, I don't think my son will view it the same way.

do not go here!! this is seriously a scam and fraud! they sued me for thousands of dollars and did…read morenot even do the full treatment. they put my son's treatment on hold due to him needing some dental treatment and surgery. my mom (who was in charge of the payments) said that she would not pay while they were not doing any treatment on my son's mouth. they literally are suing me for the full amount when treatment was not even completed. i cannot afford the garnishment they are now taking which is causing me to have to quit my job so i can attempt to make money somewhere else. could even possibly leave my family homeless when i work so hard every week full time. they are greedy and fake. beware!!!!

I first visited Adroit dental in 2012 when I had lots of tooth pain…read more I needed a wisdom tooth pulled and lots of fillings. It was important for me to get this work done ASAP but at the same time since I was pregnant I had to be extra careful and cautious of the dental work. I wasn't allowed to take laughing gas due to my pregnancy so Dr. S recommended other sedatives and I was able to take them without any harm to me & my baby. All the work on my teeth was done with extra caution and care. I didn't make the job easy because of my high anxiety and nervousness of too much work happening in my mouth but Dr. S was very patient, caring to my situation and he succeeded in fixing my cavities & pulling the wisdom tooth. My tooth pain is gone! I'm so happy my husband found Adroit dental and referred me to their office. My teeth have never been happier! Since then my husband and son also see Dr. Smirnoff and are very pleased with his work and attention to detail provide and how well they treat their patients. Their office is very clear on costs/discounts and insurance is verified prior to your Appt. so there are no payment issues /confusions later. The entire office staff is very kind and helpful to answer all your questions. I don't feel rushed to need to leave (they answer all my questions and take the time to explain any dental procedures) and I don't feel pressured to do any dental work I'm not comfortable with. The staff is very sensitive and caring to how you are doing and feeling thru out the dental work and they do their very best to accommodate you to make your dental experience stress free and comfortable. Adroit Dental has gone beyond my expectations compared to other dentists I've been to. My anxiety and fear of dentist has reduced dramatically since I've been coming to Adroit Dental.
