There was not enough toys for each child to have 1 toy each. When I mentioned it, a couple days later I saw them dump a bucket of old dirty used toys onto the floor. My daughter got bit & scratched and they didn't know how it happened.( there was around 5 kids in her class). ( I only kept her there a couple weeks because I started noticing these things and found another daycare to put her in asap) . Also they didn't have a refrigerator in the classroom to keep milk in, so the milk would be left in sippy cups all day hot. They would play videos ( I'm guessing YouTube kids) on an iPad everyday for the kids to watch. What was worse is not all the kids could see it, and they didn't have any toys to play with. they would put the couple toys they did have away. So they were just in this room with nothing to do. Their arts and crafts consisted of them taking a picture of the child holding a marker etc and then they would take it back from the child and give it to the next one to take a picture with. It was truly awful. There were cops there one day. No one is ever at the front or able to answer the phones. The cameras are always down & they point them where you can't see the majority of the class rooms anyway. Huge staff turnover & shortages all the time. We have had a great experience with our 3 year old as well, he's always happy to go to school and happy at the end of the day when I pick him up. I LOVE that they provide lunches here, are a smaller school so you can really get to know the staff and other families, and that they have outdoor playgrounds and large indoor spaces for play on rainy/cold days! The fact that it is Faith-based is what really sold us and was very important to us. Our children have all enjoyed and benefited from the chapel time everyday. The staff and directors get to know each and every family personally and communication is excellent. Everyone is so friendly and truly care about the children they serve. He has always been open to any feedback or concerns. The teachers are really supportive with parents and help in many ways including potty training. The current director is aware of a teacher putting their hands on two children and that teacher has had no consequences. She has a "30-day suspension" where she is still allowed to work around kids, including the two she put her hands on. I would not recommend working here nor bringing your kids here. I keep in contact with parents and they repletely tell me what the administrative staff tells them, how rudely they talk to them and how little they make the parents feel. One time I had one of my kids choke on a piece of food and I had to do the Heimlich maneuver on said kid. Thankfully it came out and the kid is ok, but they did not inform the parents of what happened to their own child. So said child went home and said she choked on a piece of food, the mother texted me that night furiously asking me what happened. When I explained the situation and told her I told the administrative staff, she was even more furious. They failed to contact the mother, which resulted in me having to calm her down. Another time I had one of my kids hit his head hard, to the point where he was bleeding and had to go get surgical glue for the cut. I called on the walkie in tears saying I needed help, and no one came. It took another teacher to tell them to come to my room. The front obviously had favorites, but they are so petty to the point where they would ignore a bleeding child simply because they did not like me. All the front desk did was ignore us and talk bad about the parents. So bad to the point where a parent left in tears and withdrew her kid, I still keep in touch, and she was so happy for me when I told her I was not at chrysalis anymore. They will talk bad about you and your child; I have heard it with every single kid who walks in that door. Chrysalis never ever had one good thing to say about me. I was there for almost two years and on my last day my boss told me the following "None of the parents or kids liked me. I am not fit to be a teacher; I was a bad teacher, and I should have been gone a long time ago." The office staff is very petty and very messy, after my time at chrysalis I had staff tell me "So and so said this about you" one month after I was gone. The front desk women are very messy and very unprofessional. They made the work environment so unbearable and toxic. The teachers there were overworked, tired, crying, and the front and director did nothing to help. She gave us a chocolate bar and that was it. I loved my kids, to this day I babysit and keep in contact with them. It was never the kids. They were the best kids to me. The main problem was the front desk, the director and the way they ran things. I have more and more stories about chrysalis, but it keeps me up at night feeling so bad the teachers who are good teachers there. PLEASE DO NOT WORK OR BRING YOUR KIDS TO THIS SCHOOL. If my coworkers are reading this, I hope you realize the pain you have brought upon me. Chrysalis 'Christian' preschool is nothing but a scam. Do NOT contact me.

The tryouts are just to go thru the motions to keep an" appearance of fairness" Some Clubs are fictional on the website, where most don't exist, the ones that do exist are disorganized and poorly run (teachers canceling last minute and late to their own meetings). The school is absolute garbage. Support staff are a joke and the counselors have little knowledge on how to advise the kids. Parents and kids will get the runaround if asking questions. The director and all the teachers treat every single kiddo like their own and are so loving and kind to every kid. My girls still run up to their old teachers to give them hugs when we go up there. When my oldest (now 10yrs old) started going when she was 6 months old we had been at a not so great daycare before and I was apprehensive to say the least. The staff put me at ease very quickly and were always responsive when I had questions or would call during the day to check on my baby. My youngest (now 6) started when she was 8 weeks old. Both of my kids attended until they graduated the Pre-K program there and went to Kindergarten. They also offer a service where you can log in to a secure site and view your child in their classroom(s). That was such a nice bonus when they would have events like Go Texan Day or their Valentine's parties when I couldn't be there but still felt like I was a part of it. If you want your children in a loving and family focused environment you definitely need to go take a tour of the facility. I promise you will not be disappointed!

It's small, it's comfortable and everyone knows and loves my son like I do. They all greet him by name every morning, even the teachers he's never had. It's hard to make a parent feel comfortable with their child away but I know the staff here will always take care of him. Their educational curriculum is wonderful. They teach all the things I wish I had time for. He now has a solid foundation that I can build from. This is certainly the place to be!
