The second time, I waited for an hour to get seen not by the doctor but a nurse practitioner. My appointment was at 3:15, I checked in and I went to use the bathroom. I came back to the room to wait for the doctor, I passed by the check in office and saw another patient getting his vital check. The nurse took him to the room next to me, within 15 minutes later, the doctor passed my room and went to the room next to me. After about 5-10 minutes, I saw the doctor and the patient checked in after me walked out. Then the doctor was gone for another 15 minutes or so. I saw another couple got escorted into the room right in front of mine, and the doctor went in to see them. After that the nurse practitioner came in and told me that the doctor running a bit late and if I dont mind to see a nurse practitioner. I told the nurse practitioner that I got skipped a couple times for patients that came after me. If you going to lie about running late, maybe you shouldn't do it in front of me. Thank you for taking care of us Military by pushing us away, and apparently we are not good enough to get seen on time. I would not reccomend anyone to come here and especially if you're military you shouldn't come here period! I will report to this behavior! And Happy Memorial Weekend!!

The car landed on me & exploded 4 of my vertebra, broke my leg in 5 places, broke 6 ribs, sternum & collapsed one of my lungs. I'm numb pretty much from the waist down.. I went to Dr. Beckwith in Chester, Va. For help & medication after 3 surgeries (14 screws, 2 rods, a "cage" & plate) he persistently argues with me, VERY unprofessional! He walks out the room in the middle of a conversation (will NOT let you finish what you have to say. As soon as he's done talking, he walks out the room) He has been nose to nose with me for trying to explain my situation and he didn't agree..He has ripped! proscriptions out of my hand for trying to explain my situation and again, doesn't agree..Has yelled very loud at me, in front of my son. Very angry Dr. if you haven't caught on yet ;-) He changed my dose of medication & does not inform me..(the proscription was called in) so I ran out early. His reasoning was for me to read the bottle..after taking the same dose for a long period of time, I expect the Dr. To tell me, "hey, I'm changing your dose to such & such a day" also one of the side effects of the medication is, SEIZURES, nausea, insomnia, anxiety, nightmares, etc..and I explained this to him and he tells me, (EXACT WORDS) "We'll see!..he would NOT help, Do I need to call the police to get you escorted off the premises?" very unreasonable & does NOT care for his patients. I would NOT recommend this Dr. to anyone in need of help & understanding.
