I got married June 2016. This place is beautiful and breath taking. I fell in love with it almost instantly. The owner/wedding coordinator, Linda was not so pleasant. As I felt like she was more about the money than gaining a relationship with her customer. I was lead to believe, that her place accommodated up to 300 guests, but soon found out the max was approximately 175. I specifically asked to not serve alcohol until after my Pastor left and the first thing they did was have a bar tender attending the bar right after the ceremony...at that point I had no choice than to let my guests purchase their alcoholic beverages. The owner's son is absolutely amazing (I think his name is Shawn). He is phenomenal. Nothing but positive things to say about him. The other thing that was a biggie was the music: I had to keep the music very low because there is a living headquarters located right across from where the reception was taking place. My guests also told me, after the fact, that they locked the restrooms. So they had to go inside and used the bridal room's restroom. Just wish Linda was friendlier. When I told her about not serving alcohol until I decided when, she originally told me that she couldn't tell the guest they couldn't consume after all it was a winery. I had to put my foot down with her and told her there was no way I was allowing it at the beginning out of respect for my Pastor and his wife. read more

My husband and I chose Harmony Wynelands for our wedding venue because of how beautiful and cozy the environment is. The coordinator, Linda, was very helpful and accommodating with everything. She responded to my emails very quickly and let us come out to the winery whenever we needed to. Shawn, the bartender was absolutely great! He personally makes all the wines that Harmony serves at events - the wine is absolutely DELICIOUS! Everyone who attended our wedding raved about how beautiful the setting was and how friendly the staff was throughout the night. I highly recommend choosing Harmony Wynelands as your wedding venue. My wife and our friend from Seattle just visited the winery and absolutely loved the experience! We were greeted by Linda, mother of the business and she passed us off to her son Shaun, who is one of the actual propietors. He was very cordial and inviting. The building was very unassuming but, he made the experience very intimate. The room had a lot of character with the organ and the pipes. Not to mention, the wine was amazing. I don't know where all of the "racist" comments are coming from since my wife is Filipino, our friend is Indian and I'm Mexican and they were nothing but, nice to us. The combination of the tasting room, the wine and the knowledge and character of the staff were exceptional. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. read more

My husband and I were married at Harmony almost 6 years ago. The winery still holds a special place in our hearts. It was just what we were looking for...quaint, beautiful, friendly and affordable. Linda and Shaun were wonderful! They are now dear friends of ours! We practically feel like family every time we visit the winery. We have had the opportunity to help serve at a couple of the wine events and have had a blast...the staff is always friendly and the customers have an amazing time. I stoped by back in March.After talking to Shaun about all the wines, he told me about his bottle. I ened up buying a bottle of Pipe Dreams, Shaun even signed the bottle for me. When I bought the bottle it was still in "bottle shock", and I planned to lay it down for a while. I went back in July, just to ask if the bottle would be good to dink now. Shaun was on his way out, but stoped and invited me in to have a taste. He then insisted I try there Zinfendel that had just won awards at the state fair. (and being that I showed on my motorcycle, he knew I had no intention of making a purchace at that time). I drank, and enjoyed, that bottle. I recently went back to purchace another bottle. When I walked I had planned on just buying the bottle and being on my way. Linda was there, and insited we try some wine while we were there. It was a simple in and out purchace, but she made into a visit like we were old friends. The wine is good, the vineyard is beautiful, and if you have the time, the owners are sweet and passionate about their wine. read more

On July 20, 2013 St. Mary's High School Class of 1983 used Harmony Wynelands as the venue for our 30 year reunion. The outdoor courtyard by day was beautiful and after dusk the atmosphere was magical with soft lighting, lush garden areas and a fountain The family owned and operated winery was ideal for our event. The owner was easy to work with and bent over backwards to make the event special. The evening came together seamlessly and the staff was professional, flexible and friendly. The cost was reasonable and I felt that the owner was more than willing to do whatever it took to please the reunion committee and our guests. This winery is a gem! I know I'm a little late but really wanted to share what an amazing wedding we had here at Harmony Wynelands. On Sept. 15, 2012 our day went extremely well without any issues. I didn't feel pressure or that I was rushed not one bit. Linda truly worked with me and understood what I wanted and didn't want. My first initial viewing of the venue was with her son Shaun. He's great for conversation. I'd definitely recommend an event here. As long as you know what you want and are willing to bounce some ideas off of Linda I think you will be pleasantly surprised with the turnout! read more

We had our daughter and son-in-law's wedding at Harmony in June. From the very begging Linda was very helpful in giving us local vendor's to use for the wedding that had previously worked with her before and that were familiar with the venue and one's that she knew would do a great job. Never having planned a wedding this one component of insight was very helpful. She was very detailed which is needed when you are having a large party. Each time we spoke to her she was always ready to give us her full attention. She gave us many ideas as she has had many wedding and different styles there at the venue. I so appreciate her attention to detail and order as this is what makes an event a success. The venue itself was beautiful and well groomed. I would highly recommend Harmony for any special occasion. I attended my cousins wedding last month and had a great time. The uniqueness of the organ was a wonderful touch to the ceremony. The wine and beer flowed during the reception and no one waited long for refills. The father of the bride thanked Linda (co-owner) for a great reception. We danced even a little past curfew. The DJ was open to requests and he had a varied playlist. The wedding area and reception area is cozy and big enough for a moderate sized wedding. My new husband and I just had our wedding at Harmony Wynelands, and it turned out to be the wedding of our dreams! The venue itself is beautiful and very charming and intimate. It was the perfect place to have our 150 guests join us for our special day. I got multiple compliments on how beautiful our wedding location was. The deal was amazing and very hard to beat and the wine is delicious! We haven't found one we don't like! Linda and her son Sean are delightful and made it very easy to make everything work. The best word to describe my experience at Harmony Wynelands is...... UNPROFESSIONAL! At the wedding I attended 10/4/08, the supposed owner Linda, was extremely rude and abnoxious to many guests in attendance. Her son, Shaun/Sean, helped out with service. To say he helped is an exaggeration. First off, both appeared to be drinking while serving guests at the wedding. Sean was extremely unprofessional in his mistreatment of guests, which interestingly was directed solely at the "minorities" present. At one point he stated, "You people have so much pride". In fact we do have so much pride and refuse to be treated with such disdain and lack of respect. For crying out loud, they were being paid to provide a service at the wedding on their grounds yet they continually felt the need to make their guests feel un-welcomed. So if you are into being mistreated and disrespected Harmony Wynelands serves up a nice bottle of earthy wine with hints of hatred and undertones of racism!!!! read more

Never have I encountered such blatant disrespect and discrimination in my entire life. This place is far from deserving any stars or even a business license! The guests of the event I attended were a mixed crowd; however, it was very apparent that this was not to the owners', Linda and Shaun's, liking. The two were openly rude and ill-tempered towards many of the minority guests. They spoke with condescending and scornful tones when interacting with anybody who wasn't caucasian. There came a time when the owners were, literally, yelling and even physically threatening the minority guests. Not to mention that the owners drank more than enough alcohol throughout the evening, which was also very apparent. And from the first moment I encountered the unprofessional owners of this establishment, I knew that I'd rather be drinking wine out of a box from Target than to have these small and narrow-minded people serve me theirs. read more

We set out for a fun birthday party day for a friend who has been through a tremendous ordeal recently. We wanted to make her feel loved and able to forget about some of her past pain. This was the 3rd of 5 wineries we went to. We walked into a busy tasting room waited our turn for our tasting and were HORRIBLY treated by Shawn (owners son). He was making distasteful jokes, Talking about bombings that are going to end all our lives and went on and on and on....... He didn't know when to stop and when asked to stop he LOST IT! Stormed off screaming and yelling. We were a group of 9 people and all sat with our jaws on the ground. When one member of our group went to discuss this issue with the owner (mom) he was yelled at poked and threatened again by Shawn. It was the worst possible experience we could have had! The winery business in Lodi is extremely competitive and there are many many wineries to try other then this one! If you want to enjoy your day avoid this one at all costs! read more

VERY UNPROFFESIONAL. Linda makes promises and then doesn't deliver. Her husband the organ player rushes you through the wedding procession, even though you pay extra for this service. The son Shaun, has no business acting as a D.J. My niece had her wedding here, the majority of her guests were from another state. Sad for them to travel such a long distance for a horrible experience. Linda poured wine as if you were at a wine tasting, and you pay plenty to have a wedding here so your glass should be filled. She seemed more interested in polishing her bar then serving her guests. We sent Shaun the music list way in advance (well over a month before the wedding) He didn't have any of the music we requested. One of the songs we requested was LaBamba, when I asked him to play it he said he didn't have it. I said how could you not have it, it was on the request list. He said "the last hispanic wedding I played that song and the people got offended" I said it was on our request list, He said well I don't have it.I asked him to play celebration, he said I don't have that song it's not a wedding staple song. Are you kidding me? Celebration- the name says it all. He saw my brother-in-law at the gym shortly after the wedding and said hey how'd you like the music, prettty good huh? My brother-in-law spoke the truth and said no not at all. Shaun was shocked. Why would he even ask such a question, other than he has to be completely clueless. In a heated discussion Linda told me to calm down. Not a good thing to say when you are dealing with an upset wedding planner who is also the Aunt of the bride. She said I needed to look at the big picture and remember all the nice things that took place. What she needed to remember is that we did all the set up and decorating with the exception of setting up the chairs, which she pointed out looked so nice. Anyone can set chairs up in a row, not a lot of talent needed there. She ended up telling me that Shaun had technical problems with his music a month before the wedding. Hello a month before the wedding, a true professional would have corrected the problem, especially with that much time in advance and today's technology. They won't play the music very loud either. You can easily carry on a conversation on the dance floor. Kind of ruins the party mood. Linda refunded a very small portion of money to make up for Shaun's screw up. When you are talking about someone's ruined wedding reception, a small refund does not nearly make up for it. This says it all. We had the option of paying extra if we wanted to party past 10, we could just move the party inside. We ended up moving all of the wedding guests to my sisters basement for the remainder of the reception. My reccomendation would be for 1 of the most important days of your life-DON'T have your wedding here! read more
