Highly suggest this place! Came here for the first time in February and have been bringing everyone we know here. Every time we have visitors from out of town we come here. We enjoyed it so much that we became wine members. Benefits of wine club is getting the bottles at a discounted price. Every visit we get 4 complimentary tastings or glass of wine. They have 3 pick ups through out the year for wine club members. each pick up is at least 6 bottles. My favorite wines are the estate zin and the dessert wines. Unfortunately they make limited cases of each. When I wanted to stock up at the end of the year of the dessert wine they were sold out. During summer they have summer Wine downs. Where there is food Friday nights. Every time we come we're treated with great hospitality. The staff is always so friendly. Always nice seeing the cats, Wolfy and Dewey, around the place and just chilling. They're so big and fluffy!

After an unpleasant experience at another local winery, we were so glad to have experienced the wine tasting at Stonum! Great vibes, customer service, and wine. We ended up buying a few bottles of their local selections. Will definitely be back again!

No reservations needed Shady area to sit outside, Saturday afternoon there's a live band Tried the flight, $10 for 4, small pour, 2 Sauvignon Blanc, 1 zin and 1 cab. The zin is surprisingly nice, flavorful. Not much entertainment, there's a small fountain at the other side near the parking lot.

We were passing through town on our way to Yosemite and wanted to checkout a winery on the way. Happened upon this one and it was amazing! Such a great location, good wines and friendly chat with the winemaker! Would highly recommend and would return again if we are ever in town. Will note: child friendly as well (we had our 7-week old with us)

We walked in without a reservation. Pretty place with a pond and fish in it. The winery is rustic and fun. The wines were not to our liking. Nice atmosphere.

If you're looking for something more low-key and intimate this winery is it. The staff was very polite and friendly, we were greeted at the door and told we could sit wherever we liked. We decided to sit upstairs, where they had two cute napping kitties and a great view on their balcony. Wish I had ordered the charcuterie board as it came with homemade jam, but it gives me a reason to go back.

The setting is cute and relaxing. There are plenty of tables set up and chairs around fire tables. The view of the vineyard invites you to stay awhile. The service is friendly and the wines offer a different taste than wineries around.

We had the pleasure of planning and catering a 100 guest wedding this past weekend at the beautiful Stonum Vineyards! My gosh were the grounds beautiful. Our now newlyweds, used both the adorable cottage for getting ready, as well as the loft space in the large barn. The cottage is where the bridal party got ready, from start to finish, and the loft space in the large barn is where the groomsmen got ready. The large barn was also the main location of their cocktail and appetizer hour. The long bar was perfect for multiple guests and allowed for good flow through the room. There was great communication between us and the vineyard manager Fran. She was incredible! She has a very genuine, kind and loving personality which made for a super easy collaboration. Her heart is for her guests and it is apparent she loves what she does and has great knowledge and experience in hospitality. She event stepped in when we lost a waitress and helped serve food! Truly a selfless act which she did with a big smile and beamed with joy as if she had cooked the food herself. Fran, you are truly a gem! We look forward to be able to work with her again. Fran and Stonum Vineyards are now at the top of our venue list and will for sure be recommending them to all of our future clients! Thank you to Fran and to your family and team for making this wedding such a success and overall wonderful work experience! Sending lots of love! Fork & Tie Event Planning and Catering Co. I always seemed to miss visiting Stonum Vineyards and Winery. It was closed for a long time or missing from the Lodi scene while still being listed as open on Yelp and the Lodi Wine site. They are now open and ready for business along Alpine Road on the east side of Lodi. Parking is a little small with overflow on the street. The concept is more wine bar than winery catering to the modern tourist. They have a large barn for their tastings with upper and lower assigned seating. I sat with a nice couple from the Bay Area which was fun. Unfortunately the barn so loud that I could not even hear then across the table. There was a large and boisterous party upstairs making it difficult to endure. The wine was mainly from other parts of California. I get that a lot of new wineries in Lodi don't have access to the local stuff, but what's the point? They had some interesting stuff, but nothing outstanding. We did appreciate the complimentary cheese plate and lumpia though! Overall, Stonum is just an average winery in Lodi. They seem to be focused on the groups and couples wanting a weekend group buzz rather than an intimate wine experience. The facility is beautiful but is easily overwhelmed. Steer the limo to a real bar instead.

Last weekend on a trip to Sacramento, I finally had a chance to stop by their Olive Mill and Winery. There is a nice sparking clean outdoor patio with picnic tables within a few steps from the olive oil grove but it was a bit hot that day so we opted to sit inside. In addition to the olive oil tasting set, there were some brunch items such as a crostini and salad as well as a Mediterranean plate with hummus. We opted for the crostini, olive oil tasting and a cappuccino. The jalapeño olive oil was unique and flavorful enough that we bought a couple bottles of it to take home. The pear vinaigrette was thick and tangy. The waitresses were friendly and helpful when we had a couple questions about the dishes. The shelves in the shop area is full of flavored olive oils and vinaigrette as well as ceramic and a whole slew of items for serving charcuterie. If you are a fan of olive oil and are planning on a trip up to Sacramento or Lake Tahoe, would definitely recommend stopping by to check out Calivirgin.

As there weren't many folks doing a tasting on a weekday we got VIP treatment and had a deljghtful conversation, and education about the wines, from the person pouring for us. We really enjoyed our stay and the surroundings made it extra nice. Compared to the hype of Napa and Sonoma this winery and others in the Lodi area are down to earth and affordable in comparison, especially for tastings. This place very much is worth a visit. Sitting outside to sip a bottle must be delightful too.

The winery grounds are stunning, with plenty of seating areas to relax, enjoy wine, and take in the scenery. It truly feels like an all-in-one destination--they have a winery, café, bistro, and even a shop where you can pick up snacks and local goods. Everything is thoughtfully designed so you can spend the entire day there without needing to leave. The bakery selection was a highlight. They had an impressive variety, from full-size pies to single slices, along with cookies and brownies. The apricot items stood out during our visit, and the chocolate chip cookies and brownies were especially delicious. The persimmon cookie was unique and unforgettable. For food, a barbecue food truck was catering the pickup party. The burger they served was fantastic, and the brisket was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. It came with a really good potato salad and fresh watermelon that paired perfectly with the winery's reds. Our favorite wine of the day was the Earthquake red--bold, rich, and perfect with the heavier foods. There was also live music, perfect weather, and a very relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and everything was clean and well maintained. The gardens were in full bloom, offering beautiful photo spots--especially the sunflowers and fountains scattered throughout the property. Overall, it's the kind of place you can spend an entire day at--starting with a morning visit and easily staying through lunch and into the late afternoon. Whether you go as a couple, with friends, or a larger group, it's a perfect weekend destination for wine, food, and relaxation. Can't wait for the next pick up! :)
