He works with a practice -- PreMed which has multiple locations around Dayton, he works 4 days a week in Huber Heights and 1 day a week in Kettering I believe. Not only did I find him very professional --- his whole philosophy is that both the Dr and the parent should be an advocate for the child -- but after deciding to use him he has been great with my daughter. We had some weight issues with her after her birth and he and his staff worked with me to make sure we got her on track. I was there about every 3 days for about the first 3 weeks so I can tell you that all the nurses and staff I saw were great! He even called me on a Saturday to follow up, as I had seen his nurse and not him the previous Wed (and not him)... I was floored! What Dr. calls you at home without you first calling him?!? He is very cautious and will tell you that he leans on being very conservative as he doesn't want to overlook any issues --- and he encourages you to bring a list of questions for him to each appointment. As a new mom this is GREAT for me! I would highly recommend him.

Yes,…read morethey still go to the pediatrician and I am extremely thankful for that (age max is college graduation or age 21). So we have many years experience with them and all of the staff. Previously located at 116th and Allisonville Rd. they are now at 146th and Cumberland. The staff is always very kind, professional, and thorough. I've never had an issue scheduling an appointment. They return calls promptly and genuinely seem to care about my boys well-being. They've done my boys well visits, sick visits, school physicals, and promptly provided school shot records. My boys regular doctor is Dr. Scott Boshcee. They're able to meet him with me or privately and discuss the growing changes with becoming a young men. He's very relatable and jokes with my boys making them feel very comfortable. I'll be sad when it's time to find them a primary family physician. They're truly awesome!

I absolutely hated doctors when I was little but Dr. Goodlander was always able to relax me enough to complete my shots and physicals with minimal discomfort. Dr. Goodlander is currently a part of Springdale-Mason Pediatrics. The practice is great, all of the nurses and nurse practitioners are soothing and gentle with little ones. Springdale-Mason is usually very busy as it serves an area that is booming with school-age kids, but you can still usually get a same-day appointment.

She has seen every pediatrician and NP in the practice, and they are all good! My personal favorites are Dr. Davis and Sandy (CNP). Dr. Davis always answers my questions, as crazy as they may be, and rather than being annoyed at my Dr. Google information, he calls me "informed." Dr. Davis and Sandy never seem rushed, and always take their time. The office staff are always pleasant when I call, and I never have had an issue getting an appointment.

I reminded her that they then couldn't have their regular immunizations. It would be too early. She said, "Well, we'll still have the flu shot in Dec." I asked her what would happen if my children get the flu before Dec. She said, "That's just our policy." I cancelled our new patient visits. Both of my kids went to this group for years. Usually I went to a great nurse practitioner but my…read moreson had severe bleeding so I asked for a doctor because I was scared to death. Long story short after several months of no resolution we asked to go to a GI doctor. Willimitus sent the request but did not send it as a priority so we had 3 months wait to get in. I asked him to resend it as a priority due to the severity of his symptoms but he would not do it. When I called the GI myself trying to get a earlier date they said the pediatrician had to do it. The pediatrician is the only one that can do this and as we learned this would only take a few minutes of his time to complete. After we waited for several weeks because he would not make the phone call to get him in sooner we took him to the ER. The ER nurse calling us with the results got us in at Childrens GI within a week because his results were so bad he needed immediate attention. After this happened we got a new pediatrician and they only asked where to send his file and they never asked why we switched or followed up with us to see what the problem was or how he was doing. Although they did call to ask for the 20 dollars to transfer the records (which I had already paid). My son was living with a severe case of ulcerative colitis and today he no longer has a colon. He went more than several months without being treated although we kept pushing. By the time he was treated he was jaundice, lost 40 pounds, iron deficient going to the restroom at least a dozen times a day. But, Willimitus would never know that because my son was just a number to him. I know now if I would of stayed with the nurse practitioner she would of been on top of it, she would of made sure he was seen by the GI Specialist as a priority. Boy did I make the biggest mistake of my life when I asked for Willimitus.

I was criticized by this doctor and really felt like I was failing as a Mom. She didn't appreciate that I preferred to pump since my little one wouldnt latch. She also mixed up a food allergy with a skin allergy. Fast Forward: I met Nancy Brashear with Eastern Hills Pediatrics at a local baby expo. Nancy immediately took me under her wing and reassured me that I was doing great (first time mom) and that my baby was medically perfect! Nancy and the staff gave a wonderful first impression! I called right away to schedule an appointment and was in right away, they now accept most if not all insurance- awesome! It's a little complicated to find (building behind Mercy Anderson, 3rd floor) but once you're inside, you know it's the place you want to treat your child. Extremely clean and bright, sick vs well areas, tons of educational literature for parents and fun toys for kiddos. The exam rooms have very classy themes and the furniture is top notch. The nurses are all very nice and professional. Appointments are always quick yet thorough. I cannot praise Nancy Brashear enough. She has uplifted me from complete meltdowns in office regarding my baby's health. She's always a phone call away, which I've utilized and she has personally left me voicemails regarding results from important tests. I've also called the nurse hotline a few times and they always call back right away and give me the correct answer for my little one. I've also had Dr. Furby when Nancy wasn't available: he is a very smart, thorough Doctor. Plus, what kid doesn't love getting a sticker at the end of their appointment? They never run out ;)

Last 3 children have been healthy, and I slacked on their physicals. We were dropped from the practice, which was understandable. However, we received no communication telling us that we no longer had a doctor. We didn't find out until an emergency situation when the doctor's refused treatment and told us to go elsewhere. To me this showed a lack of integrity, trust and what about that hippocratic oath? This instance showed a huge lack of professionalism.
