I see cross-fit groups out here all the time. There is a huge running/walking/biking loop around the entire park and connecting to other routes. I think also some kids soccer groups also play here. Families: there is a very large playground with benches and shade! It's top notch and well maintained. Tweens/teens- there are benches and sick places to hang. You can even bring hammocks. There is plentiful parking. Picnic tables. Families often come out on nights with solar events and their telescopes. To be fair it is super well lit so it may not be the best place for star gazing, but you get many people to interact with. Plus let me add for Pokémon Go players- three gyms and 6 Pokéstops so this makes for excellent playing.

Passing this park on an out-of-the-way side street for the last two years, I noticed a "workout area" towards the entrance to the park. I made a mental note to stop and check it out but, never did until today. I usually work out daily at the recreation center but, recently due to Omnicron, I've been looking for an interesting outside place to get some exercise. I remembered passing this place and decided to check it out. On pulling up I was initially disappointed. I guess I thought the structure should be bigger, more interesting, more challenging! then I started using it. Bam!!! Hello! I thought I was in decent shape for my age but, boy was I wrong. I couldn't even make it through a few exercises on this "adult playground"!!!! It just shows you can't judge a book by its cover or make assumptions. You have to Do It. this great little outdoor gym known as the Miracle is just that. In a fairly small area, several exercises are demonstrated via placard if you need them. It will wear you out, challenge you in ways you didn't anticipate. I'm so glad I found this outdoor place to exercise in the fresh air at this time. I feel I'm getting a type of physical challenge that I didn't inside a gym. Definite Go!

The largest lot should be rotated so the large dogs can have more room to run and some shade trees. There are no shade trees where they keep the large dogs. It's boring it's just big piece of grass we have to watch where you step. I've contacted the management and said why don't you put some trees in there if you're not going to allow the large dogs in the big lot? And they have all kinds of strange governmental excuses. Last year they said they were going to build some type of a cover inside the lot but never did.

Picnic tables usually have good shade, but it does depend on time of day / sun location. There's somewhat of a little kid and big kid structure, IMHO. The little kid side is accessible by, say, 1.5- to 2-year olds. The taller structure is probably 4-year olds minimum and good for up to... maybe 10? Ish? It's pretty tall. One pair of little kid swings and one pair of regular swings. Generally pretty clean, so please help keep it that way! Plenty of trash cans and recycle bins. Occasionally there are groups - generally birthday parties, I'd say - that do leave messes. North of the playground the concrete path continues into one of the adjacent neighborhoods, and there are some grassy areas that are good for games like frisbee, etc. See pictures for more, plus park rules and when the park is open.

I've never been to Fenway but compared it to that and my bff and I both agreed it felt a bit like the Padres stadium in San Diego. I love a good baseball game and this past Friday night was so much fun. We were surrounded by amazing people, a stadium that really felt like a close knit community. Our party was seated in The Tavern which was very lovely. Highly recommend. They have a swimming pool IN THE STADIUM and every Friday evening a fireworks show. I can't wait to bring my son to a game. I purchased gear about 5minutes after arriving knowing I'd definitely be spending more time here. All of the fun of a MLB game, minus the hassle of driving to Arlington and dare I say it soooo much more character than Rangers stadium. Far more charming than Globe Life. It's truly a special place. If you're looking for a 5 STAR experience in Frisco, this is certainly it!
