There are a couple bowls, some stairs to throw yourself down, and a nice street section with rails, ramps, and some unique obstacles. The skatepark isn't the largest, but it has a good flow and everything's spaced out enough that it doesn't feel like a zoo. I also like that it's clean and easy to get to with plenty of parking. The only negative is there seems to be more scooter kids here than anywhere I've skated. Not a big deal but parents, for the love of God, tell your kids to be aware of their surroundings. Snaking drop ins and cutting people off isn't cool and it's poor skatepark etiquette. If they're old enough to ride, they're old enough to have manners and spatial awareness.

We had to contact them again in which they replied that it was just shipped. Poor customer service and 13 weeks later we have yet to see our purchase (payment was taken in December). Emailed Company but they wont respond.

There's always choking hazards (mainly water balloons) on the ground! The one negative aspect of the playground is that the slides are always too hot during the dog days of summer, so make sure the kids don't burn their legs! Also, keep an eye out for the little ones as parts of the play ground are raised around 15 ft!

Great urban getaway amid the hustle and bustle that is McKinney. Only 20 years ago McKinney was a…read moresleepy little north Texas town that had seen it's better day. However, having always had something special going for it,the north Texas growth has breathed new life into this 10 square mile area formerly " historic" McKinney. This little lake created by forward thinking city planners is more and more a community gathering point. Just to the west is a full blown Frisbee golf course, hiking/biking trails and more. I just discovered a new addition today. A lighted walk,with music,to enjoy after dark I'll be back.
