This is…read morea good park for sports- there are baseball diamonds, and big fields for team sports like soccer, horse shoe pits, basketball and tennis courts. It's a pretty wide open park, where you could run with a kite or play some ball. There's also a bike and jogging trail that runs around the park that runs about a half mile or so. There's some good sized trees around the perimeter of the park for shade, and a big shade over a playground. There are certainly places to get out of the sun around here. It's a nice park, with lots of parking. It's a family friendly place, but is only outfitted with port-a-potties. The park is lit at night, but they turn off the lights around 9:30p or so.
