What made it worse was the handling. I've been with State Farm for nearly 25 years (my husband even longer), working with 4 agents across 2 states; and never once had an issue or filed a complaint. Every agent we worked with was truly excellent--until our longtime agent retired and Kaitlyn Ponce took over. She has been difficult to work with from the beginning, and this was the tipping point. Her "fix" to the VIN issue was sloppy and incomplete, leaving me at continued risk. She assured us it would be corrected retroactively with the state to ensure no gap in coverage; but it wasn't. Thankfully, State Farm Corporate ultimately found the error themselves; notified us that they backdated the correction directly with the state to protect me from potential fines or misrepresentation on my vehicle. Instead of accountability, empathy, or even a basic apology, Kaitlyn was dismissive, cavalier and deflective, offering only a flat "It's fixed," "what else do you want us to do" -- despite the seriousness of the situation. A simple "no idea how something like this could happen - let's ensure we get ti fixed" would have gone a long way. Important to note - Anthony and Victoria in the same office were wonderful--kind, professional, helpful--and handled an emotionally charged situation with grace and professionalism - I don't want their efforts overshadowed by how poorly this was handled overall by the the Agent themselves; Kaitlyn Ponce. We are now moving all of our policies to another agent. Would not recommend this agency at all.

All needs were different, and all at different levels of income. I had one very high mental health need. Terri worked with our problems and got us individual plans for each person when we first started with our health two years ago. This year teo insurance companies canceled their coverage and didnt alert us unril November, and the third child needed to change. And ihealth was quick to respond to me in multiple ways, (text, email and calks) and the back-and-forth of trying to get in touch was minimal. On top of that i was able to connect with the original broker id established rapport with two years ago! The personal interaction is so warm. Terri, our broker, took the time to really understand our individual needs. And in each case thoughtfully and thoroughly helped us navigate the system without having to sweat. She even called the GA exchange to help to get dates right. I actually talk this group up outside of online reviews. I tell my kids if there's anybody they know who needs help navigating and getting ACA through a brokerage to call these people. I don't think I can recommend them highly enough. They seem to be in it for the right reasons, everyone i interact with is friendly, and clearly they hold onto their employees. They're great!

After switching to another company, I needed information to complete my taxes. However, every email I sent would take days to get a reply until the replies stopped altogether. I tried calling about 4 days straight and no one at the company ever answered the phone! Seriously?! An insurance company that doesn't answer the phone?! My phone messages were never returned. When I finally spoke to the agent I needed to speak with, she just acted like I was a big inconvenience. Unfortunately, it's not my fault if I need info to do my taxes...otherwise, I would have never called them! Oh and still waiting for my refund check over two months now since I cancelled.
