Some companies wanted up to $200 to come out and tell me if they could do the job and give me an estimate. Nate stopped by, looked at it and sent me a quote in a couple of hours, at no charge. That convinced me they had confidence in their work and pricing. The job was very involved and had a couple of hiccups, but they corrected everything and it passed inspection from the city. I will definitely contact them if I need electrical work in the future.

I most recently took a lamp over to have a shade fit. They are very knowledgeable in pairing size and shape of a lampshade to the type of lamp you have. Last year, I also brought them a 1930's lamp where the pull chain mechanism had frozen up. In searching through their comprehensive supply of vintage parts, they actually found an original 1930's part to replace The one in the lamp, so that it matched its mate. Everyone there is very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I would highly recommend using them, as quality shops like this are going to vanish if we don't patronize them.

The estimate was also very reasonable after doing cost comparisons. Griffin, our installer was an incredible electrician. Unfortunately, I must give this shop a one star review. I say unfortunately because it is a very…read morenice looking store with some beautiful light fixtures. However, let me warn you that everything on display must be ordered. That is not the problem in itself, but what they do is hold orders and withhold shipping from the manufacturer making it a 4-6 week overall time to get your fixtures. And, they will not tell you that prior to leaving your deposit. Not surprising, because why would you order fixtures from them knowing that? If there was a legitimate reason that fixtures actually took that long, it would be understandable, but these are fixtures that the manufacturer has in stock now. Fixtures you could order online and get in a few days, or go to a local light store and have in stock. Ray's lighting, this is a very unethical way of doing business. And, no matter how many years you have been in business, you need to change your business model to be successful in the future.
