I had a very disappointing experience with VinTech, the first company assigned through my home warranty to service my GE Monogram built-in refrigerator/freezer. Both my refrigerator and freezer were warm. The VinTech technician came out but stated that he could not access the freezer panel and recommended that the entire built-in unit be pulled out. This was extremely concerning to me. The refrigerator is a built-in GE Monogram, and the components needed for diagnosis and repair are accessible from within the unit. There is nothing behind the unit that would logically require it to be pulled out to access the freezer components. I requested a second opinion through my home warranty. The second technician was able to properly access the freezer, diagnose the issue as a failed freezer evaporator fan motor, and replace the motor--without pulling the built-in refrigerator out, all in 1 hour. The difference between the two service calls was significant. The second technician was able to complete the diagnosis and repair that the first technician said could not be accessed. If you have a high-end or expensive appliance, particularly a GE Monogram, I would not recommend allowing VinTech to service it based on my experience. I would strongly recommend requesting a different service provider rather than risking an incorrect diagnosis or unnecessary work to the appliance. I am grateful that I requested a second opinion, because otherwise I could have been left with an unresolved appliance and an expensive recommendation to pull out a built-in unit unnecessarily. read more

I got their services via HSA; they came next day after a visit was requested, and fixed my dryer within an hour! They told me exactly what was wrong (blown fuse), how to help maintain my dryer for the future, and were even nice to my dog. Great team! read more

Vinod saved Thanksgiving for us! Our oven quit working the weekend before thanksgiving and he got out to look at it Monday, back first thing Tuesday with the part that needed to be replaced and the our oven is back in business in plenty of time. Vinod was very warm and kind. Quick to respond to calls and texts. We were linked up with him through our home warranty but I'd prefer to use VIN-tech for any future appliance issues. read more

this is a horrible company with dreadful customer service skills and are worthless!!! i wouldn't recommend them to fix anything because the fact of the matter is they dont know how to fix anything!!! they've been out to my house for 2 different issues; one for my stove that he somewhat diagnosed but couldn't fix so i had to pay someone else to fix the issue as he said he could not. then my fridge had issues and he came out multiple times due to several challenges still with no resolution! my fridge is leaking all over my wood floors causing damage to the floor now!! victor and his assistant are a comical pair and knowledgeable about nothing concerning appliances! vin tech, remember that name and do not use them! they weren't my choice but my home warranty company uses them!! and very bad attitude that viktor has and the helper isn't any better!! read more

I was fortunate to have the two gentlemen assigned to me multiple times for multiple appliances. They were assigned through 'American Home Shield.' Every instance they came out, they made it their mission to complete the repair in one visit. They cleaned up after them selves and were very friendly, making good small-talk. Two days after the repair, they sent a follow-up text asking how the appliance was working. I feel lucky when they are assigned to me, and have asked for them to return. Good dudes! read more

Vinod diagnosed the problem by talking to me on phone, ordered and brought the part and fixed my refrigerator. About 2 years back also, my refrigerator was not cooling, Vinod diagnosed the problem by talking to me on phone, brought the part and fixed my refrigerator. He also repaired furnace of our heating system last year. I am very happy with Vin-Tech's work since all the repaired items are working very well. I found Vinod to be very knowledgeable, experienced in diagnosing and fixing the appliances. crooks and liars. had them come out through a home warranty company for my dryer. looked at it and said that the problem was the dryer vents had too much lint and they don't deal with that. fair enough. I had my dryer vents completely cleaned out and the issue still persisted. so I went through my warranty company to schedule a follow up visit since my dryer was still it working. THREE TIMES the appointment showed as cancelled right away. I reached out to American home shield and apparently vin-tech had told them that I had asked to cancel the appointments. completely untrue. they did no work the first visit, got their money, and no refuse to do any follow up or follow through on the actual service. wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. terrible way to run a company and outright liars. read more

Spoke with this man MULTIPLE times about a simple fix to a dryer for a client. Gave him pictures (twice) ....Gave him the clients phone # and all contact information. He didn't show up the first time he said he would......Then i contacted him again and he told me he would be there on a Friday and had talked to the client. He then proceeded to NO SHOW AGAIN. When I called him just now he hung up on me, then when i called back he sent me straight to voicemail. It's disappointing. I informed him i would pay a higher price because of the simplicity of the repair to make it worth his while. He decided to ignore me. Not a smart business move. read more

I used a different company and they said it is an electrical problem and not an appliance problem is the appliance is fine. I had Vinod Vohra from Vin-Tech come out to service our washing machine. He seemed confused and agitated from the beginning. My washing machine isn't agitating or spinning, but he said that it wasn't filling with water. I said that it is. He then said that he was trying to put it in diagnostic mode but was having a hard time with it. He complained about how hard it was to get behind our washing machine. He said that he tuned it up and that it was agitating weakly because it probably needed a capacitor. He said that if it continued to have the problem in the next couple of days that I would have to have him "recalled" through American Home Shield. I observed the machine, and nothing was fixed. It still didn't agitate or spin. We contacted the Warranty company to recall him. They said that he told them that he was on his way back with the part right away. We waited and waited then called him directly to see what time he would be here. He yelled at my husband and complained about the warranty company. He said that he didn't like their attitude and didn't like our attitude. He said that when the part comes in that it can sit there for days or weeks, that he could make us wait 21 days if he wanted. This man's explanations are shifty and incoherent, and he offers no real solutions. I got the feeling that he is wanting to drag this out until the warranty for repairs expires or until it is so close to the expiration window that he couldn't be recalled to fix it. Following up on this: I had another company come out who fixed our washing machine in 20 minutes. It was the clutch. read more

Vin Tech took my job of repairing a Wolf oven when others would not return my call or kept skipping out on appointments. He was methodical and made sure to work with the manufacturer's technical support. He is possibly the most honest contractor that I have met. Meet him with honestly and he returns the honesty fully. He kept me up to date on the status and did not take a markup on the ordered parts. When follow up was needed, he took responsibility for his work and made things right. He was able to come with two days notice (due to weekend), called on the way and arrived right on time. He was thorough and gave us suggestions for improving operation. We hired Vin-tech for appliance repair. we were told repeatedly that the first hour would be applied to subsequent work since nothing was found to repair during that visit. Next we were told a sensor was the problem and was replaced. That did not fix the problem. Then we were told a fan needed to be replaced. Which it was. We are waiting to see if that fixes the problem. In the end we were charged for the labor of the first hour. It was not applied as stated repeatedly that it would. When discussed the Vinod he refused to accept it and told me to seek repair elsewhere. Also be aware he is not an authorized repair person for Bosch so any parts installed will not be warrantied by Bosch. read more

We were recommended this vendor from American Home Shield. Victor called me within 24 hours to set up an appt. the company had great communication and was prompt. Victor diagnosed the reason for my freezer not getting cold and even recommended having a fan placed behind my refrigerator until the parts were received. communication good thru out and was fixed within 5 business days. only thing is that i didn't receive a receipt of the repair/diagnosis for record keeping. read more

Just had Vin-tech come out for the second time. (First was 3 years ago-review is below). This time to repair our refrigerator that was making a funny noise after coming back on after 3 days of a power outage. I was so worried that the refrigerator wouldn't be able to be repaired and that we would be facing a huge replacement cost. Victor and his son had asked me to send them model number and describe problem. They arrived with replacement motor and fan to a 12 year old refrigerator. Had it replaced and all put back together in less than an hour!! They are so helpful and dependable. I am so glad that they were readily available, and the job was done so well! Was referred to receive a service from this company from my home warranty company. There must have been an issue with the phone number on the account so when they attempted to schedule with me it wasn't the correct number, not their fault which I acknowledged. I contacted them and kindly asked if I could get something scheduled. The man on the phone who I believe is the owner was extremely hostile and began screaming at me. Stated I accused them of not doing their job. This behavior was extremely unprofessional, I began recording the call to give to the warranty company and notified Vintech that I was going to be recording, he continued to belittle me and scream at me. I notified them I didn't feel comfortable having them in my home. If you use AHW I strongly suggest you reach out to have a different technician and if you don't, I would suggest that you do not go with this company. I don't know if they do great work but I do know their customer service was unexceptionable. read more

I had Victor come to my home because my sub zero door was not closing properly and I had one burner on my cooktop not working. Victor was professional and pleasant and looked at both my appliances. He said that nothing was wrong with the door. He tightened some screws and said that in time the seal should come back. As for the cooktop, he opened the burner to see the condenser coils and explained what was wrong and what it would cost to repair it. Victor did not fix anything, but did charge me for two service calls for $178. I actually should have addressed this issue at the time he was here but I paid him. I later texted him my concern regarding what I thought was an overcharge. Victor responded by telling me the things he did and that he usually charges $129 per appliance and that he was entitled to take what was due but if I thought he charged me too much I should let him know what amount he should return to me. My response to him was that while he did in fact come to my house I felt that two service calls was excessive. One service call was appropriate. That is the last I heard from Victor. read more

Not sure what to say but I just got scammed with my $750 where my 18k subzero is messed up/ free-on has leaked which we have inhaled and money has been taken out from my account where I was told clearly on the phone that my Cheque will be returned!! I hope I can get my money back! Victor please try to return my money as you promised! No one in America pay for service that breaks down in 2 hours!!! There has to be some warranty behind service that is performed at peoples houses, else you shouldn't be charging $750 for couple of hours! We trusted you and paid you almost $200/hour for 3 hour job without asking any question but if your diagnosis didn't work and the service you provided was of no use, you cannot charge us $750 and expect you to pay another 2k for it! Humble request to your company to not do this with people and return our money! We are really disappointed and sad to have money taken out from out r bank even though we were told that the money will be returned back to us!!! read more

Excellent work! I called Vin-Tech for our ice-maker and AC repair work at the start of this summer. Person responding to our call was very professional and knowledgeable. Technician came on time and was able to fix the AC problem quickly and cost of repair was reasonable. For Ice maker, parts needed to be ordered and it took 2 days to get them and same technician returned to complete the repair. Thank you for the good work. Highly recommend this company. read more
