During the first month of owning my Nissan Leaf, I had questions that the dealership where I bought my car couldn't answer. Perhaps maybe there are not a lot of sales staff who are familiar with the in depth features and benefits of owning an EV, or maybe perhaps their needs to be more education? That's where customer service with Nissan North America comes in, where they have dedicated support for EV owners such as myself along with their dedicated team that can answer almost all the questions you might have. After speaking with their customer care team several times in a span of a few weeks, they provided me a solution. While satisfactory, there were a few other hiccups that needed to be resolved. However, with their quick response and extremely great follow-up, I am satisfied. I suggest if you are looking to purchase an electric vehicle, you might want to look at a Nissan Leaf. It is super fun to drive, has zero emission, and you help the environment by reducing your carbon footprint and lessen the reliance with fossil fuel. Granted, EV is not for everyone, but if it can fit into your daily life, I highly suggest you look into it. Now, I am not going to sugar coat my personal experience, I did have range anxiety the first several weeks of owning my Nissan Leaf. But, once I understood the dynamics of owning an EV, it gets easier and easier. I've actually taken long trips with My Leaf ranging from over 200 miles. So yes, it can be done with good planning.
