I just received a voice mail message saying that 'death certificates and remains were ready for…read morepick-up'. This message had nothing to do with me and the inept staff member instead of paying attention obviously mis-dialed. In my opinion they would be better served not leaving a voice mail over something relating to a death, but making sure they actually speak to the correct grieving party in person. This was very upsetting and disturbing as we had lost our son over 5 years ago, his first name was the same as the name they left on the voice mail. I called them to inform them of their mistake, I was talked over whilst trying to explain the situation, and the only reason I called was because somewhere, someone is grieving and I'm sure wants to know about their loved one.

This funeral home has been around forever, they take good care of the recently deceased, and loved ones, they provide all your typical funeral home services, along with a staff who is capable of breaking up a fight that is likely to break out at the wake, viewing, funeral, or graveside service - this is a common tradition among Rednecks so the funeral home is just prepared for it. My one suggestion to improve their service would be to update the music being played - still playing that creepy pipe organ funeral home music from the 1940's -- its strangely remnant of the theme song played by Lilly Munster.... I guess it adds to the experience, and ambiance, but the locals would MUCH rather banjo music, Johnny Cash or Boxcar Willie be played soft and low in the background. - 1 star for the terrible parking - 1 star for the time you guys put so much make up on my Aunt Ethel every one said she looked like a street walker..
