These folks are as good as it gets. They were scheduled to come in 2 days following the issue…read more When I called and asked them to change the appointment due to the coming bad weather they were there within hours and when it got to 24 degrees that night I was very thankful Longs Refrigeration had taken care of us. On Wednesday the technician arrived and fixes a broken fan and says some board needs to be changed…read moreout. He leaves me with both of my downstairs A/C's not working. I wait and call the next morning to let him know that both of the A/C's are not working. He says name a time and I'll be there. I asked for noon. I take my daughter out of occupational therapy early to back to the house by noon. 12:30 he still has not shown up with no courtesy call. I call him, he says he's running late. So we agree on 3. He changes out the board and I make sure both A/C's are working. An hour later, I realize the fan is not shutting off at all. The thermostat reads 70 and it's set on 75 and it keeps dropping. I call the technician who finally calls me back. He helps me turn off the unit outside, but the fan is still going. He says he'll be back tomorrow evening to fix it. This worries me because that's 72 hours the fan has been going and I'm worried about my power bill. I find a way to shut it off with a switch upstairs. He said he'll be by tomorrow to look at it around 4 or so because he had an install most of the day. It's 7:15 p.m. and I have heard from no one. At 5:20 I try calling the technician and the main number. No one answers and no one has reached out to me. It is 7:15 p.m. on a Friday and I still have an A/C not working. They have also taken their phone off the hook for their main number. I am trying to take care of this with a husband deployed and minimal help. Even just a courtesy call would have been better than being completely ignored or forgotten. update: Today Sunday 7/21/19 1535: The original A/C that was freezing up is actually not fixed, so now both of my A/C are not working and it's Sunday. I think the technician accidentally called me on Saturday and when I called back 1 minute later he did not answer, nor call me back. So I have no A/C working in the middle of Summer in Alabama and this claim was put in on Monday 7/15/19. This company has had more than a few days to fix a problem and when my claim was about one A/C, why do I now have 2 A/C's not working because of this company.

The installation itself wasn't completed as quoted because the wrong thermostat was installed. We were specifically quoted for a Wi-Fi thermostat. After noticing the mistake, we called the company and were told they would look into it and call us back. They never did. Several days later, we had to call again ourselves. At that point they admitted the wrong thermostat had been installed and scheduled someone to come replace it on Friday because we explained that we both work and couldn't continue taking time off for a mistake that wasn't ours. Today, we got up early on our day off and waited at home for hours. Around noon, after hearing nothing, we called to ask for an ETA. We were then told no one was actually coming because they were waiting until a technician happened to already be in our area. No one had bothered to call us and let us know. Our entire morning had been wasted. When I expressed how unacceptable that was, I asked to speak with a manager. Instead of speaking with me, the manager had someone else relay an apology and tell us they promised someone would be out today. So we continued waiting. Nearly two hours later, with still no one showing up, we called again to ask for an ETA before leaving to get lunch. This time the manager answered, but instead of addressing the situation herself, she transferred us to the dispatcher. That's when we were told the truth: no one was coming today at all. We were told the owner would come sometime next week whenever he happened to already be in the area. Not a scheduled appointment. Not a specific day or time. Just "when he's in the area." That means we were asked to waste our only day off waiting for technicians who were never coming, and we were told multiple different stories throughout the day. The issue isn't just the thermostat anymore. Mistakes happen. The problem is the complete lack of communication, accountability, and respect for our time. When a customer pays nearly $10,000 in cash, I would expect the company to make correcting their own mistake a priority. Instead, we've been ignored, given conflicting information, and made to feel like we're only worth the trip if they're already nearby. If this is how they treat customers immediately after receiving full payment, I can only imagine how warranty or future service issues are handled. I sincerely hope they make this right, because at this point I'm incredibly disappointed with the level of customer service we've received.
