expected transparency, expected that my silver bullion would be tested, a documented buy bid offered which would take about 45 minutes for what I had provided. I got 10 minutes, no explanation how the silver was evaluated and I felt like a mark. This is NOT the place to sell gold or silver coins. It was rushed, lacked documentation , the apointment setter said it will take awhile for all of this, and this was not consistent with the 10 minutes that I got. read more

I stopped in Harris Jewelers today to see what they might have that I could pick up for Christmas. I've been here before and their jewelry is just beautiful. They maintain a collection of 'Estate' jewelry which is jewelry that was pre-owned and in near mint condition. Because of that, the prices are more reasonable than the new jewelry. I was shown and bought a braided gold Estate necklace that partially separates so that it can be worn as a bracelet and a necklace. All together it's 24 inches long. Separated it's a 7 inch bracelet and a 17 inch necklace. It's beautiful. And it's one of the Christmas gifts for my wife. Harris, you get an A+!!! read more

My fiancé and I stopped in one day this summer while we were dating to try on engagement rings and find a style we liked. We were greeted by Josh, and the other staff and we were taken care of right away! He paid attention to things we cared about and what we seemed to like about certain rings, and let us know we may want to consider creating our ring with the designer. We fell in love with two rings & the designer drafted up a few sketches of what our ring could look like & walked us through the process. Each time we left Harris we were on cloud 9 - so excited and giddy! The service was incredible and the overall experience is something I'll value forever. Not only is the service amazing, but the ring is better than I could ever dream of! It's unique and perfect, everything I wanted (and didn't know I wanted) and more! Also-- designing our ring together I was still left shocked seeing the final product and being surprised, nothing felt ruined if you were afraid of that process. I will start this out saying I do not go to jewelry stores very often. I am the type of person that scares most people.. all black clothes, usually a horror theme shirt, just not the type of person most companies want to see come in their store. I have a ring that I wanted to get appraised so I searched the net and found Harris jewelers had a gemologist on staff and was the closest to me. I emailed back and forth with a Bonnie Harris, and explained to her I have always been very leery of leaving my ring with anyone. She assured me that was fine, everything was done in house so there would be no problem with that. When we arrived Bonnie was just as wonderful in person as she was threw her email. After meeting with her I felt very comfortable leaving my ring with her. She was able to tell me the all about the ring and quoted me for getting it sized. Which I must say was VERY reasonable price. When we came back to pick the ring up, I mentioned my wedding ring set, and how I would like to find a different band to go with my diamond. She looked at my ring and took it to the microscope and showed me that the diamond was tight, but how the prongs were damaged. I had known they were damaged, but she actually showed it to me. (that is the first jeweler to ever to do that) Then she verified what I had been told about the age of it, and even explained it to me! Then when she got a quote to fix it, it was the lowest quote I had ever gotten!!! I was just blown away! I think that they have gained a customer for life, and I know I will ALWAYS recommend them to people I know! Thanks again for everything!! read more

I am updating my review of this place as the jewelry I thought I purchased from this location, did not in fact come from this store but to another that was in the same area years ago. The Owner contacted me to resolve this issue and being well in detective work found the real answer to this misunderstanding. Both employees were very friendly, and though I indeed did not need correction of the said jewelry, I must say I was very pleased on how eager they were to try to resolve any issue. I have not bought from this store in recent years, but the kind service of both the manager and employee is enough to make me have another look. I took my ring to get a estimate on prong repairs and to replace one missing baguette diamond. Waited 3 days for an estimate, had to call and was told it wasn't even looked at yet. Had to call back and was given an astronomical figure. I went to pick my ring up to take it to get another estimate and the ring had black marker all over it and when I cleaned it, there was second diamond missing!!! Very unprofessional! Since finding this jeweler (given to me from my insurance agent when my all my jewelry was stolen) my husband and I have not gone to another jewelry store.
