The prices are high. The sales are stingy. I sendom experience sales on anything I like or need. The employees are not managed or trainef well. At publix, they are much more imterested and willing to help you, and are more knowledgeable. They run out od the sales items on the first day. They don't give a 5% senior discount until the next day. The gas credits are pathetic. Publix lets you buy $50 gas cards for the stations of your choice for only $40 each. The only requirement is to have a minimum purchase of $50. One time at HP a cashier refused to bag my groceries since I brought my own bags or and because they did not say Harris Teeter on them.

    Check out.

This is a great grocery store. I definitely recommend their bakery. They have the best cakes and are very friendly and helpful.

I'm typically a beer drinker, but when needing some items to help ring in the new year, we stopped…read moreby the ABC store. Despite having to work New Years Eve day, the staff was friendly and welcoming. They also had a High Point police officer at the door ensuring no issues, I'm not clear if that's a daily thing, or just during busier times of the year. They carry a good selection of alcohol, in many cases, even offering several brands for more common items like vodka, whiskey, and bourbon. They don't sell any beer at the ABC store, and I don't frequent them though to be able to say if any do. But they cart the hard stuff, some mixers and a very small selection of snacks.

I am in High Point for the furniture market, I live in Texas…read more We come to HP twice a year and we shop here a lot, mainly because it's the only liquor store near by. The group that I travel with is about 25 people total. Last week my friend and I went to buy a few things and the employee was very pushy for us to buy drink mixers, which we absolutely hate. We politely declined to buy them, paid for our stuff and left. Tonight we go again and he AGAIN tried to push us to buy nasty drink mixers, we politely declined AGAIN (same guy) and when it was time to pay for our 4 bottles of different liquors (don't judge) he said he couldn't sell to us because we had a TEXAS ID....REALLY?? REALLY??? WTF is that about? So if our ID is issued in Texas, somehow we can't buy liquor? That's weird, because he did last week, and every bar in town has had no problem with our Texas IDs. Funny rule for a liquor store in a town where 35,000 [eople come from all over the world for the furniture market. Also, my biggest problem was the mean and almost insulting way he said it. He was just a huge jerk. I would understand if that actually was the law and he explained it nicely, but it's like he got satisfaction telling us no. I seriously don't know what his problem is, but we are both pretty angry and we will just drive a few extra miles to avoid that total douche bag. (White male, about 40 years old) Say good bye to my business and the business of my 24 co-workers!

I didn't recall that there was a bar in the rear and made sure to snap a shot of their weekly board. I'd return to check out some of their events or even just to grab a bottle of wine. I selected a Riesling that did not disappoint and a Cabernet Sauvignon by Jam. I forgot to snap a pick of the Riesling but I'll return to grab it again! I'd say it's a place you could easily overlook but if you did stumble in here, you might find a brew or want to hang out at the bar for a bit. There's more to this place that I'd like to see and look forward to more reasons to visit.

It was pretty packed, but there were multiple tables laid out. Ours was a table for four, but we were able to squeeze into two additional friends that met up later. The layout of this place is casual and cozy as there are aisles and shelves made of fine wood stocked with varieties of local and fine wines as well as craft beers and other types of drinks for purchase to go. During music bingo the place was jumping and the mash up of classic hits definitely made it so much fun. Many people were enjoying it singing along and just having a great time. For my drink, I chose their creature comfort IPA served in nice beer glass. Their IPA is pretty smooth and also balanced so it's not too bitter. They don't serve food there, but there was a food truck outside making it convenient to go right out and order food. Overall had a great time and I would definitely come back for the music bingo night again.

The tap selection isn't huge, but they tend to have a good variety of flavors. And for under $5 you can sit and enjoy a great flight of craft beers in the beer den. Service is friendly, though because of this great value there tends to be a back up, and a bit of a line...but she's kept it moving nicely the last few weeks. They have a small seating area, so best to get there early, or you can order a pint and take it shopping with you to get your groceries for the weekend. This is definitely a unique feature at the grocery store, and I'm surprised more haven't gotten on board with the idea. All in all, we've enjoyed it, and it's easy to pick up a snack in the store to enjoy while you hang out.

Leanne is usually there and she is great! Very friendly and will make you feel at home. They have a great selection of IPAs, Stout, sours, cider and wheat beer on a rotating basis as well as a good selection of wine. There are several long hightop tables and high stools that can accommodate large groups up to six or maybe more, as well as some smaller round tables in the adjacent aisles for two or three people with a couple of normal size chairs. The area is always clean and tidy so no complaints there also provided are some table games like Uno, Dominos, ring & hook and connect four. The service is always great even if there is a few people in line it moves quickly. We always have a great time there a convenient spot to get a quick drink to try new local craft beers and socialize with friends.
