Came here to try the Fluffer Nutter PJ Marshmallow Stout. Saw it on their website and said "I gotta try it".. It was Saturday and pretty crowded. I think there was a private event. Even though it was crowded, we were served right away. I loved their elevator turned mini wine cave. Clever way to use it. They carried other loved brewery products like Gingers Revenge and Fiddle. Okay so initially I thought this was just a local spot to pick up some brews to take home. While you certainly can shop through a variety of single and multi pack options to take home, you can also sit and enjoy a beverage at the bar or one of the many available seating options. They have a great selection of alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks. The THC/cbd drinks are becoming more popular and they have a solid selection of those. About of places don't have the Bodega Sodas so I was thrilled to be able to grab a pack to take home. The bartender was very knowledgeable on the selection and offered a stout for me to try while I looked around. The inside is very relaxed while also appealing to the eye. Artwork from local artists is displayed on the walls along with plants and magazines to look through. I will certainly return and hang out at this establishment. read more

Always enjoy spending time at the Brewers kettle! The staff is friendly, knowledgeable about their vast selection of beers and wines and always quick to make a recomendation. The space is very relaxed with some outdoor seating, though it can be loud at times due to traffic from Main Street. But always good to relax and catch up with friends here. They only offer small snack foods, but encourage guests to bring their own food or get food delivered. They always have fun events hiding from holiday parties to themed rotating art shows each month, trivia, beer/wine tastings and so much more. Fun spot, and one of my favorites read more

Excellent place with phenomenal choices of everything but I LOVE hard ciders! A beautiful place to sit and enjoy a new drink- ive been twice and have been greeted with kindness and help with a smile- i know they like their jobs! I plan to return many a times! However, One improvement for safety: the step up from parking lot and the step into the Brewers Kettle door is a trip hazard--- it would be good to paint those places bright yellow or orange to mark them if you can find the time-- read more

I love this place! David and his crew do a great job of planning a wide variety of tastings and other events to keep customers coming back for more. Tonight's event featured cook out wines and a sampling of foods from Blackpowder Smokehouse in Jamestown. It was a beautiful marriage of wine and smoked meat. I can always count on Brewers Kettle for a great variety of beer, wine, and excellent events. They have special events throughout the week including weekly tastings and discount wine nights. The Brewer's Kettle has an incredible selection of local and international beers. The owner's and other staff are always knowledgeable, helpful, and just generally down to earth. I've come here several times just looking to try a few new things and I never leave disappointed. You can get something by the bottle or by the can, or make it a 6-pack. They also have wine, and MEAD! Mead is a malt beverage made from honey and it will knock your socks off! I tried it years ago for the first time in some random pub in Asheville and fell in love with it. It will get you in trouble though because it goes down so easily. This place also has a bar with about 10 different rotating beers on tap and a good selection of wine as well. It's a very chill atmosphere and one that I desire to frequent more often. read more

This review is for the new brewers kettle, after it has moved. 2505 North Main is their new address. Newer building looks nice. Clean. Plenty of parking. Inside there is a bar area, a few tables, several areas to gather with chairs and tables. Plus outdoor seating. Super cool decor. Much improved from the old location. Plus they actually have glassware now. So the old location, was pretty much no good. In every way. I figured I will stop in and see how it is now. So the building itself is nice. The service. Terrible. Just no good. I walk in and there is nobody at the bar. I wait. And wait.. Nothing. Finally someone comes out and I get a few samples. After which time I start to get sideways looks. I get a beer. The selection is good. Nice bottle selection too. But the prices for bottles is just exorbitant. Later the same old guy from the old location makes his appearance, with the same crappy attitude. I dont know where these non-caring, non-service oriented people come from but I wish they would go back. Get someone to serve in here that actually gives one crap about what they are doing. As I have said in the review for the Kernersville location both of these places just leave a bad taste in my mouth. There is better service and selection close by! Now that they have moved its even closer! Not long ago I got a message from "someone" who was affiliated with The Brewers Kettle, with a snide remark. Thats fine. Two of us stopped in for a beer at the bar. If I were rating the place as a bar (only) I'd give 'em 2-3 stars. For a bar, its sort of a dump. However, if I was to rate it as a beer store I'd give 'em, hmmm, maybe 3.5 or so. They have lots of great beers on the shelves, although I did not think the prices were unduly attractive. Fantastic little beer store in High Point. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Moderate sized selection, but all very carefully selected, and they've got a good number sitting in a fridge. Pretty much the only place to go in High Point for your microbrew fix, and definitely the only place in High Point to go for anything Belgian. Plus they actually have a pretty large selection on draft (I think it was about 10 taps) if you feel like hanging out for a bit. Some wine and cigars as well, but I know very little about those, so will leave it to others to review. If you are already a lover of "fine ales and lagers", or are just toeing the water, The Brewer's Kettle is mandatory for anyone in the High Point area. Greatest place to buy, sample, share and drink socially in High Point, NC. Several rotating taps of the greatest of beer and over 375 bottle brands. Oh, lets not forget the wines too. Expansion April 1, 2013 with additional 1,100 square feet too also stock huge cigar selection. read more

Great place to go and wind down after work or on the weekend. Rotating draft beers so you never have the same menu every week. Keeps something for everyone. Also keeps a good selection of wine you can purchase by the glass and a large selection of bottles in all prices. They probably have the largest selection of can and bottle beer in High Point. This is one of my favorite bars in High Point. It has a very relaxed atmosphere and they have an extensive selection of craft beer bottles/cans in addition to beer on tap and wine. Staff has always been friendly and attentive. I enjoy to purchase a flight from whats on tap or bottles from the store. It's a fairly small space, however I've always been there around pre-peak timeframes and have never had an issue with crowdedness. They do half pours. The beer is served in clear plastic pint glasses. 11 traps that seemed to focus on the NC and then several Maryland taps. Service was good and the beer selection of bottles was in the basic 200 bottle range. They reused the same plastic cups without washing them out. read more

With the recent addition it really is a top notch bar that always has great people in there that are willing to strike up a conversation with their neighbor.
