If I could give negative stars I would. So, my two most recent experiences...first being the visit, wherein the store was so overloaded, the line wrapped the entire front end. No management showed up to help direct. And no additional registers were opened. The second being the online I placed, where one of the items was unavailable. I had opted in for text alerts...no alert came for the missing item. No email. No call. No warning. I showed up to the store expecting my items, only to be told "I don't know why everyone is ordering these we've been out for days". Between trash tier management, a subpar at best website, and atrocious customer service....this company has lost my money entirely. I hope to see you go under like Lowes did. I'll be there with fireworks when it happens. read more

Harris teeter had some good deals with some chicken thighs being $1 per lb. I did however get a box of grouper burgers and they looked like they had previously melted into one another and they don't look good to eat. I'll probably have to return them for a refund. Produce was good and fresh. The store is always clean. read more

Ahhh I love this Harris teeter location! It's the best of the best for many reasons; well staffed, friendly staff, great selection of items, clean store, kid friendly carts, fast pickup service, patrons with children parking, veteran parking and excellent deli/bakery. Every time I have visited, the staff are so friendly! From the flower area lady, to the deli man and finally the checkout staff everyone is accommodating and kind. They always speak to my girls when I have them with me and ask me about me day! This location has an excellent selection of items and if items are out of stock for pickup they do a great job with substituting. The flowers here last FOREVER. The lady that is regularly working the flower area treats the flowers with such care and it's evident in their quality. Two of my favorite things are the free cookies for kids are always stocked and my kids love them! Secondly, the patron with child parking is such a plus. I love that they honor our veterans with veteran parking as well. The store is very clean and well laid out. The produce is always top notch with some local selections as well! And as always, wine selection at Harris teeter is always top notch! Fuel points for BP gas and coupons here are a plenty as well so don't be deterred by those that say HT is overpriced! read more

Watched a young white guy walking around the store eating a bag of chips and just so happened to see him stash the empty bag behind a shelf. Saw him again at the cooked food section with a pack of sushi, headed to the back isle. When i was in my car leaving he exited store with nothing on him so he must have ate his fill inside the store. He walked out of the parking lot. Doesnt HT have any security or cameras around store? Guess its easier to pass the cost of stolen goods to their paying customers. Prices aren't going to go down as long as stores allow such blatent theft. read more

This Kernersville store discriminates against customers. The pharmacy hands out wrong prescriptions at times to customers. There is produce and fruit partially rotten on their shelves. The restrooms are filthy and disgusting. The prices are sky high for the poor quality of food they sell. The store manager Harry Hankins needs to be fired for letting this store get in this bad of shape. You complain to Harris Teeter corporate and they don't care about customers. They put profit before people. Undesirable people running this store gives undesirable experience for shoppers. Please avoid this store if you value your health and well being. read more

Some of the shopping carts have NO rubber on the wheels you are rolling on the plastic rims. This is an ongoing issue from last year. To use the coupons you have to download an app, give lots of your personal information so they can send ads and junk mail to your phone and email. I left and went to a different store. This was not a pleasant shopping experience. read more

I really do like shopping at Harris Teeter since they carry many products not offered at other stores. My issue is constantly finding out of date products. On several occasions I have actually could shredded cheese packets that have gone green or blue. My most recent quest was to pick up a pizza brand only carried at Harris Teeter. Once I located the pizza, I noticed the meats looked odd. Upon further research, I located the BEST BY DATE OF September 2018. Folks, this was on 11/27. Before the pandemic in mid January, I noticed that the meat handlers did not wear gloves. He went right from my salmon to my burgers without a glove or washing his hands. I asked the meat manager and was told it is not required by the health department. I pointed out that the deli department wears gloves; and he said each department makes their own decision. I visited 2 weeks later and noticed the meat handlers were still not wearing gloves so I stopped buying meats there. During this pandemic, I notice that Harris Teeter is also not as proactive as Food Lion, Lowe's, Fresh Market and Publix in that they don't offer a delivery option. Nor do they provide one way aisles which only takes the effort of time and tape. I'm rethinking my allegiance to a store that places such little value on health and safety. read more

Nicer upscale grocery store that can be a little pricey for most items! However, this is my go-to spot for wine purchases as they quite often will have 20% off a mix n match case of wine! Usually when they have the 20% off, your favorite brands will be discounted as well which then makes it even more of a savings! read more

Selection at this one is pretty good but they do have higher prices than some of the other grocery store chains. Look for sales. The Boar's Head meat selection is better than that of some of the delis in NYC. We saw one kind of meat here we've never seen up there. Otherwise, it's a grocery store so not sure what else you can say about it. I didn't see any major problems. read more

More "gourmet" than Lowe's Foods. I like the atmosphere of Harris Teeter:classy but unpretentious. Great variety of produce, specialty deli meats and cheeses, and I love their takeaway sushi- you really can get some fabulous rolls! Impressive wine/beer selection as well. The womens bathroom is ALWAYS nasty and smells like raw sewage. Today, the floor drain was evidently clogged and couldn't even walk in there without stepping in the contaminated water. Very unsanitary for a grocery store! Come on Harris Teeter! You make enough money off your customers to resolve this issue and it has been going on for too long. We used the floral department at this Harris Teeter for our wedding flowers and Sandy was AMAZING. She was so kind, enthusiastic, patient and genuinely excited to help us with our wedding. Her floral arrangements were perfect. We had so many compliments and their uniqueness matched perfectly with the wedding venue. The prices are very reasonable and were the best value I could find for floral services in the area, but just as pretty. Now that I've been in the Triad longer, I fully appreciate Harris Teeter. They have sriracha sauce, ladyfingers, horseradish root, cottage cheese with pineapple, pump action dish soap, pine nuts, microbrews--some of which are not sold at the other local grocers. I was spoiled by Hannaford in NY, so I can't fully give it 5 stars; Teeter is, however, the best grocery store in Kernersville BY FAR. You totally get what you pay for -- The store is clean, the produce is fresh, and the employees are well-groomed, pleasant, well-mannered and always helpful. They have fresh sushi-- a convenient dinner option when I stop by late at night. They don't have a salad bar, but they do have a self-serve olive bar. They started selling Boar's Head deli meats and cheeses 3 years ago and it's really good stuff. I eat it with Harris Teeter Kaiser rolls. Teeter also has the best chocolate chip cookies (when the bakery doesn't overdo them)! Unfortunately, their brownies aren't as good. I believe they just started selling fresh (not previously frozen) fish. Score! The poultry section is kind of a hit or miss. Sometimes they have boneless, skinless thighs, and sometimes they only have the bone-in, skin-on. Sometimes the stuff on the shelves is still frozen. There are 4 self-check out kiosks, which is always a plus for me when I don't feel like socializing. Boo--They don't sell pollock (yes, the fish)! But then again neither does any other grocer in the area. Tip: Get a VIC card! It's free and worth the savings! read more

This is my go-to grocery store in Kernersville. They have it ALL: a huge selection, stellar customer service, and a nice, clean appearance. I like that they have a fresh market, where I frequently purchase fish and other seafood. I also appreciate the fact that they display the origin of each seafood item. The meat department associates are always ready to help if I have questions or need an item. The cashiers are ALWAYS friendly and often start up some nice conversation at the registers. This is the main reason why I keep coming back. A certain competitor store across the road doesn't quite measure up to this store's friendliness. One thing I can suggest is to come here during odd hours (anything other than lunch time, 5pm when people get off work, etc...) if you want a decent place to park (the parking lot is on the small side). But even then, my check out time is not long at all. read more

I ran in here one day and I was in a hurry. I grabbed the first employee I saw to ask where something was. Not only did they take me to the item (instead of pointing or verbalizing direction) they then walked me back up front and checked me out. WOW what service. Great Customer Service here!! read more
