A few hours later, I visited a local Walgreens and asked if they were currently taking walk-ins. The pharmacist said they were, if I was willing to wait for about 45 minutes to accommodate the current appointment times. I gave them my insurance card, vaccine card, and ID while I filled out some necessary paperwork. Once the paperwork side was done, I waited in one of the many chairs at the end of the aisles by the pharmacy. The customer flow at the pharmacy was pretty steady while I was there. It seemed most people were there for vaccines, either for the flu shot or for initial/second doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. Most customers did wear masks, although there were some who would only put them on when it was their turn to get a shot in the back area. All Walgreens employees were wearing masks, although one of the stockers had his around his chin and didn't even adjust it when talking to customers. The store seemed to be pretty clean and organized. When they called my name for the booster, the process was very easy. They verified my identity, administered the shot, and updated my vaccine card. I was able to leave with additional paperwork about possible side effects and the V-safe program updates. I would definitely consider returning for future vaccines.

Their presence felt excessive and intimidating, especially since I was with my young son and had already paid for the item. Mark said security footage showed me purchasing the item and placing it in a bag. I explained that I knew it was on my receipt but did not have it with me. When I asked about the footage, I received confusing and contradictory explanations. Another employee then joined the conversation, making me uncomfortable enough to leave. I was simply seeking help with a misplaced, paid-for item. I felt embarrassed, intimidated, and treated as though I had done something wrong. Please review this incident and the conduct of the employees involved. I would appreciate an explanation and hope Walmart will improve how similar situations are handled.

First of all I do not highly recommend Prosperity Pharmacy.
