Friendly but under-staffed CVS Pharmacy store. The store was well stocked but it took a while to find what I needed.

How long does it take the manager of the CVS to be notified by his employees that the window gate is broken at the pharmacy drive through. It's been awhile and it has been broken before. I know the pharmacy staff probably like it since it cuts down on having to deal with drive through and A cashier line but for some where walking is hard , we look forward to the drive through. If it's possible to give it zero stars, I will give zero stars. The shop itself is good and clean. But the pharmacist is the worst cold-hearted and mindless woman ever. Does she know she works for a very important work in there? It is about human health and life. How can she work as cold-hearted? I saw she has two sons like me. My youngest one got sick and I tried to get a prescription from there. I went there at 7:55 pm she said they were closed. I explained to her I needed it. But she did not want to help me. I went there with my sick boy. Even though she saw my son was sick, she did not want to help him. She said come at 10 am. This branch needs to concern their pharmacist. If they keep this pharmacist, they will lose their customers. I will not go there again. read more

I will report Helen, the NP, and Gigi to the medical licensing board of Virginia. Went to minute clinic for a shot. The patient before me was coughing badly so I asked Helen to leave the room door open for my shot for fear of Covid-19 transmission. Helen, the Nurse practitioner and Gigi, were extremely rude and unprofessional, refused to leave the room door open or give an alternate room. They both were really rude and unprofessional. You would expect medical professionals to understand my concerns about Covid transmission but sadly no. Helen should possibly retake her infection control classes - that is if she even has a license. 0/10 do not recommend. Had a rx called in by hospital post surgery and this location failed to fill the rx and I was not notified until 30 mins before the pharmacy closed when attempting to pickup. Was told that in order for the rx to be transferred to another location the dr would have to transfer it. Then was told 10 mins later while on a different call with the Dr that the pharmacy had magically received enough pills to fill the prescription. Horrible service and experience after undergoing a major surgery, will never have rx sent to this location again. read more

Slowest pharmacy I've ever had the displeasure of using. Used to be okay, then the staff changed and it's all gone south. What used to be a 15-45 min wait is not 3-5 HOURS. You can waste a whole day waiting on these people to fill your meds. They will not call you if there's a problem with your script. That's on you after you check to see why your medicine isn't ready yet. Plus they're not friendly at all. Whenever a call is placed they take forever to answer the phone and then rush you off the line. After many years, I feel it is time to switch pharmacies. read more

Waited in line for over five minutes while the cashier and supervisor had no customers without being acknowledged. Then when I attempted a return and the cashier was confused I was told by the supervisor she was an authorized to do returns without the manager despite having a receipt and to come back an day. read more

I wanted to update my review based on information I discovered after I posted it initially. When I got home I was surprised by the prescription strength I had been given. I called my doctor the next day to confirm and his office confirmed that she had filled the prescription incorrectly with an incorrect strength. read more

Absolutely the worst pharmacy around. Always understaffed and even when no one is in line it takes minutes to even be acknowledged. Lines are typically long and takes forever just to grab your prescription. Everyone looks irritated to work/be there. Never a smile. Truly unacceptable and a horrible customer experience. read more

My wife had a horrible experience at this location. Worse customer service. First said medicine is on recall and cannot be filled and when we showed up to pick up the medicine as we got a call that it was ready, we were told call corporate why they called you. Short end of the stick kinda treatment. She also proceeded to walk away from the counter with no furthur explanation. Sorry guys enough places to fill prescriptions. They gave my 3.5 yr old daughter an expired prescription. Not a recent expiration either, it was from March. We didn't notice the expiration date until she was three doses in. Unfortunately, my prescription plan through insurance says I have to go to CVS. read more

I have been using this pharmacy for the last year and I have NEVER had a positive experience with the employees. I see a different person every time I go and what irritates me the most is they never tell you they will be right with you. To me it didn't about having to wait it's the fact you have to wait without anyone even acknowledging that you are there. Every employee truly needs to be taught common curtesy. read more

Just got back from this store. Their price on the item totally different from when it ring at the register. All my 4 items are over charged $1 each. I called them and asked because i saw the price weren't the same as and they are totally lie. I asked the manager to walked and looked at the price......she get back to the price that ring up. I am 100000% sure it different price. I double checked 3 times before i choose the item i wanted to buy. Poor me, i must checked the receipt at the store before back to the house. I hate this store. Minute clinic nurse/Doctor I wish there was a way to give a negative star to this place to the doctor/nurse here. Came in to get a vaccine specifically ask when I came in about the shots I needed, she told me that there was no problem that they had everything and that they accept my insurance, so I waited for almost two hours for her to tell me that they didn't have the vaccines I needed. There is only one tech that knows how to run my prescriptions through so I don't have to pay more copay than I should. When I tried to explain how it needs to be done with the pharmacist when that tech wasn't there she acted like I was an idiot. I had to wait a couple days to pick up meds. It's a matter of a couple hundred dollars a month so it's a big deal that they are submitted in a certain order. The last time I was in I had a new prescription and the doctor told me to ask the pharmacist how to use the inhaler because it can be confusing. I asked the pharmacist for help and she told me the directions are in the package. I think it's time for us to switch pharmacies. read more

I give this rating based on prescription costs only so this is not a reflection on this location but CVS Pharmacy in general. My dog was prescribed a medication for seizures so I dropped it off it with our other monthly prescriptions. The pharmacy called me 20 minutes later to let me know that the prescription was $235 for one month. I do not have pet insurance so I agreed to pay the cost. The following month I had Costco transfer and fill the prescription for $25 a month. WHAT!?! That is a crazy difference. So I transferred my own personal prescriptions and I save an additional $48 per month. A total savings of $258 a month savings. Shame on them! read more

We just went to this location and wife wanted to use her coupon . She brought her item to the register and said it was on sale even though there was no sign. The MANAGER says that they can't put sale signs out on every item that's on sale because there's too many items to do that for and walked away from us like we weren't worth talking to anymore. I have been using this CVS for years however due to the extremely unprofessional pharmacist, I have moved to another pharmacy. Yelling at staff AND customers, no matter what the circumstance, is not appropriate. She was so rude to my adult daughter two different times that she refused to go inside to get her prescriptions. Techs were nice as were the rest of the staff. But I'm giving a 2 star strictly based on the pharmacist. read more

So surprised to see the so-so reviews for this location! We recently moved to the area and I've just started using this CVS. Every experience I've had with (several workers now) has been outstanding. They are helpful, refill prescriptions quickly and answered any questions I've had. Excellent and Friendly Service. The most pleasant experience I've ever had at any Pharmacy as most pharmacists I've encountered have little patience. I drove 10 miles further to fill my prescription that no one could fill and they had it. It is now the pharmacy I will go to as I was treated with such care that 10 miles is worth the drive. I wish I remembered the lady that took care of me as she deserves recognition of her customer care service though all techs there were friendly as well. I have to add that they filled my prescription fast even with 5 other people there before me and I noticed people were in and out. I left with a smile on my face :-) 5 Stars!! read more

I tried to support CVS because I respect their decision to stop selling cigarettes and focus on health. It was a risky business move. That is why I moved from my Safeway Pharmacy here. I wish that I hadn't. It seems that every time I approach the counter the staff are in a big group gossiping. Then someone says, "we will be with you in a moment." Then they continue to chat until there is a good break in their conversation, or the conversation is over. Annoying, yes, but this isn't why I'm switching. Fast-forward to last week. I went in with the name of a pain medication and asked the front girl (Deanne I think her name is) if they carry it. Her response, they do, but she doesn't know if it's in stock. I explained to her that my husband is having foot surgery, so I needed to know where to take his prescription to get it filled fast. Her response: she can check if it's in stock once I bring them the prescription. Why she couldn't just check while I was there (with no line behind me by the way) is beyond me. When I call Safeway with the same request, they actually check. So fast-forward again to today. Last week, I had a procedure, and not to be too gross, I had a reaction that caused blistering and leakage. Ok, that got gross. Anyway, the day of my husband's surgery, I realize that I'm leaking through the bandage. So, I run to CVS with his pain medication prescription in-hand. I run to the bandage aisle. Grab 3 boxes of large band-aids, then go to the pharmacy counter with both the bandages and the prescription. Once again, they are chatting, once again I don't care about this. So, Deanne comes up to me and asks if she can help me. I point to the bandages and say "I would like to pay for these" and I show her the prescription and say "I would like to fill this." She then says, "oh, you can do that over at drop off." So, I go to the drop off line (which is non-existent by the way as I was literally the only customer). An African-American lady (I didn't see her name tag because she didn't bother to really come over to me, and I feel comfortably pointing out that she is black given that I myself am black and that she was the only black person working there at this particular point in time) comes over and starts entering the prescription in the computer. So, she asks me if I would like to pay for the bandages when I pick up the medication. I responded that I want to pay for the bandages now, and then pick up the medicine. She then rolls her eyes, and continues to enter stuff into the computer. After that, she informs me, "you can pay for your everything together when you pick up your medication in 15 minutes." Great customer service. They want me to continue to leak into my jeans for another 15 minutes?! I didn't bother to explain to her why I needed the bandages right then, because it was none of her business. It's like the concept of taking my money twice was a huge inconvenience. The bright side to their total lack of professionalism, I took one box of bandages into the bathroom and changed there (I'm sure that the janitorial staff appreciated someone stuffing medical waste into their trash, but what else could I do? I needed to change and get out of there. I was going to run home and change, but, whatever). That was when I realized that the bandages weren't quite large enough, so I just bought the one box that I opened instead of the 3 boxes. And now, I am going back to Safeway, where even though the pharmacists don't tap dance for you (which I wouldn't expect anyway because I prefer people to have a sense of dignity) they also don't make me feel like garbage for trying to give them money twice instead of just once. read more
