If I could give 10 stars, I would. All of the staff were very kind, knowledgeable, caring, and so on. I'm from Florida- and currently visiting for the summer. I called asking if they took walk-ins, but the receptionist was hesitant as they were super busy.. she was still able to get me squeezed in within the hour. I brought my cat in & was greeted & checked in quickly. I didn't wait long to be moved to a room either. While in the room the vet tech was very kind, caring, respectful, and she answered all my questions and concerns. She was very compassionate and understanding. The doctor didn't take long to come in- he was very knowledgeable, understanding, and thorough. I decided to put my cat down, and they allowed me to take all the time with her. There was absolutely no rush. They were extremely compassionate and gentle. Even the front desk receptionist. She was also very kind and gave her condolences. As for their prices they were EXTREMELY reasonable. I went in thinking I was going to spend at least $1000. Not even close! If I would've gone the surgery route to remove her mass it would've been around $200-$300 (give or take). Her cremation was about $150. Which compared to Florida is pennies on the dollar. Very affordable prices. I stand on if I could give 10 stars I would. Between the amazing staff & affordable prices this is a vet I'd recommend to locals & even non-locals. read more

In our short time in the area we have made multiple visits for our dog, starting with an er visit. (He is 14 with a heart condition) The compassion we were shown made us decide that Dr. Dixon is our veterinarian, despite several closer to us. Our dog, Roman, got out of the fence yesterday and we think he got a couple of snakebites. His shoulder and leg became very swollen in the middle of the night and we decided to take him, based on a local referral, to Harrison Animal Clinic. Being Sunday, they were closed but their on-call doctor was very prompt and courteous and agreed to meet us there. We called when we were 15 minutes away and Dr Gage Dixon was there to greet us when we arrived. He examined Roman immediately, assessed the situation, and prescribed antibiotics and a steroid. He was very quick and professional. We are fairly new to the area and now we have found our preferred veterinarian. read more

We had an emergency today and could not get into the vet in Branson. They referred us to this clinic. Staff was pleasant and professional. The clinic was clean and well appointed. We were on vacation in Clinton Arkansas when our dog Robby became ill. We called and got an appointment on a Saturday. From the initial contact that morning until we left that afternoon, we were given the utmost care and compassion. They walked us through what was a very hard time for us. It was not the outcome any of us were expecting or wanted. Dr Gentry prayed with us over our boy and cared for him like his own. As he entered Heaven that day we were beyond heartbroken but relieved he was in the arms of God and without suffering with his illness. Our toy poodle suddenly took ill at 6PM one evening. When it became apparent something was seriously wrong, we attempted to contact the emergency veterinarian, leaving a detailed message. We'll never know if she could have saved our best friends life since we never received a return call -- even the following day. We will not be bringing this clinic any more patients and continue to grieve our friends passing. I am haunted by the feeling of helplessness looking into his dying eyes. Amazingly bad manners. I called to schedule an appointment, the woman answered "Harrison Animal Clinic, what can i do for ya." Absolutely snarling. I called her out for her lack of graceful business courtesy, and that pissed her off enough to get a hangup. I called back and got a polite young lady that understood that Harrison customers were not her own private meat. Set me up with an appointment for the next morning. Next morning, after being pointedly ignored at the counter by one dimwitted and meanspirited young lady, a different, very nice lady helped me check my dog in for treatment. With a team apparently led by Dr. Heath Jones, my doggy received excellent, breakthrough treatment, and I was ultimately satisfied. But several of those condescending women who have gathered around this outfit since Dr Joe Melton retired need serious training in business relations and the courteous treatment of fellow humanity, upon whom their paychecks depend -- having apparently deigned themselves as little imperious queens who are doing you a favor to talk to you. I don't abide rude behavior, even from little queens. read more

Maybe it's okay for small animals but it is NOT good for equine emergencies. My horse was down and I called the clinic at 5:45 pm on a Thursday. I got a message saying, "In case of an emergency call Dr Austin at xxx-xxxx." I called the number and the voicemail system was not even set up to take messages! I have Dr Heath's number so I called and left a voice mail describing my horse's symptoms. I DID NOT GET A CALL BACK. I called the office the next morning and got absolutely no where with the office staff! I finally called Dr Beverly Chevallier and got a response within an hour. This never would have happened if Dr Joe was still there. I don't know what I'm going to do when Dr Beverly retires. read more

these 5 stars r for dr. blankenship and her wonderous team ..i've been to another vet there and my baby got multiple infections only because blankenship had hand surgery . so i wont let any other vet touch my bulldogs but her(she knows her stuff). but you all are right about front desk service. there are a few that r so very nice but the rest r rude and i also got a hang up all do to me telling my fur baby to calm down....i know she heard me but slammed the phone down. when i called right back and it was the same snotty young lady. when i went in i heard that voice and knew the attitude so i said ill wait for the other lady... .....but doc blankenship is a super vet .... read more

Our kitty was ill and we brought him in to see Dr. Blankenship. Unfortunately he passed however Dr. Blankenship and the staff in the back who helped our kitty were compassionate, caring, and thoughtful. We thank them from the bottom of our hearts for their kindness. read more

I completely trust this animal clinic. I have used several and have found this one to be the best. The doctors and staff are friendly and really know their stuff. I had one of my dogs spayed elsewhere and the incision was 6 inches long. I brought my other dog here and the incision was about an inch. She healed so much quicker. read more

The staff was super friendly and reassuring. The vet on call (Dr. Jones) responded to me after hours and was able to arrange an exam first thing in the morning. It was such a relief to prevent another visit to Springfield ER, and Lint showed drastic improvement after his hospitalization. These guys rock. read more
