I have had many problems painting my old plaster walls in an apt with very poor lighting. Choosing a paint color and actually expecting the outcome to be simple and satisfying has proven to be disappointing several times, but each member of the staff has been there to assist me along this long path, with knowledgeable insight, helpful advise, and a sincere willingness to help me get it right. They have gone above and beyond every time I have come into the store! I have been treated with kindness and professionalism even when I have had to return several times to tweak colors in order to accommodate my unusual circumstances. They have never let me down! Rarely do you find an entire staff that gives the impression they truly care about your satisfaction, but this place is an exception. These folks have a nice track record, are super helpful, pleasant and have gone out of their way to help us find the right item in their aisles or waiting for our paint to be mixed in. The event was very well organized, and the staff were friendly, patient, and helpful with the children. Everything was provided--wood pieces, hammers, nails, screwdrivers, paint, and all the other materials needed to complete the project. Best of all, the workshop is completely free. The projects are fun, hands-on, and a great way for kids to build confidence and creativity. These workshops are offered on a monthly basis, making them a wonderful activity for families. Each month it's a different project. The project for June was a goalie game. The kit includes a cute pin and certificate as well. It's super cute. Cruz, was incredibly helpful in helping me figure out how to touch up my railing with the small amount of paint I had left in the bottom of the can, which was buried under a crust that had formed over the past decades. Accordingly, I was able to complete my touch up without having to buy a quart of new paint, and to finish the job with a minimal amount of work and without having to repaint the entire railing.
