With ample amount of parking, it doesn't seem like you'd have a problem finding one. Located conveniently along side a picnic area, before, after or during your boating or et skiing excursions, you could sit down for a meal at any one of the benches. The washrooms are large and clean, and not to at from the dock. Oh- and right next door,to the left, if you're looking at it, is an ice cream shop. Bonus! Like I said, great lake :D

My son was stopped only 30 minutes into a 1‑hour jet ski rental and falsely accused of breaking rules and hitting other watercraft -- none of which happened. The adult riding with him confirmed he followed every rule. When we asked for the manager, he ignored us multiple times and only came after we insisted. Instead of resolving anything, he made even more false claims to justify keeping our deposit. While I was recording for evidence, one staff member said, "What is this grandpa doing?" showing clear hostility just because I was documenting what was happening. We ended up waiting more than 3 hours for something that should have been simple. They eventually admitted they were wrong and returned the deposit, but only after a long and unnecessary confrontation. I also witnessed them accuse another family of damage that clearly didn't exist. This seems to be a pattern, not a one‑time mistake. Based on how we were treated, I would never return and cannot recommend this business to anyone.

If you're boating on Harrison Lake make sure you check out 'Killer's Cove Marina' for boat, Jet Ski…read moreand water sports rentals. Killer's is Conveniently located on the docks just in front of Harrison Resort and Spa and is a lot cheaper than Harrison Watersports, also Killer's Cove is a family owned and operated business so you can feel good supporting it. FYI: Harrison Watersports requires a $2500 damage deposit versus the $700 Killer's charged (& refunded us). We had our choice of boats at varying rates and they gave our driver a detailed safety course with equipment and maps. They conveniently gave us the option to split up our rental time (6 hours) over a couple days or load up a redeemable card on the off chance that we didn't use up all our time on this visit. Things to know: - They won't allow you to make out of town reservations over the phone, you need to do them in person so check them out the day before you want to rent if at all possible. - The boats don't have stereos so bring your own. We were forewarned so it wasn't an issue to just bring our own ipod dock and speakers. - You can rent a 'tube' to pull behind the boat for an additional $20 a day, I highly recommend it! Us three adults had a great time with ours :) We had such an amazing day, if/when I'm back to Harrison I'll be sure to grab another boat from Killer's. The rental process was quick and painless and our day on the water was easily the most memorable of the trip.

Using a paddle float takes some skill so unless you know what you are doing I'm not sure why they give this too you. The boats that they give you are hard to capsize. But watch out for the wake from motorboats. Many have no clue about the effect they have on a small canoe or kayak. You can't paddle far but they do allow you to go down the river which is very nice. Enjoy.

The cabins were very close together and has ZERO privacy. We were in cabin 17 and cabin 16 was about 20 feet away from us. Also overlooked the parking lot. They seem to be more designed for large groups and families to all share space. There's only one electrical outlet so you recommend bringing a power bar. Not all the windows have curtains so we taped a black garbage bag to the top and door window to make it darker, it was very bright in the morning and woke kids up early. There's a small beach right by the cabins or a short walk to the larger beach with a dock/washrooms. The beaches are gravel so would recommend water shoes. The bathrooms were clean and showers nice. There was one communal fire pit. It was so high that you if were sitting down on a camp chair you couldn't actually see the fire over it. There's a large covered communal area with picnic tables and a dish washing station with hot water. Large grassy area for kids to run around which was nice and lots of shade.

One of the best things about this park is that most of the picnic tables are shaded by trees that provide important cover from the sun in the summer. There is also a kids park at the Entrance Bay Picnic Ground. A great outdoors experience for the family.

Ii is a favourite place to stop for us, and this time, although a touch early 'season-wise' for most returning salmonids, I anticipated seeing at least a few adult fish in the river, and returning to the facility. Our visit was rewarded with such sights - there were several adults in the stream 'and' attempting to make their way into holding structures within the facility available to them at that time. I knew we were a touch early to see many returning adult fish to the facility, but that said, we did get some good views of several fish within the stream, and some very up close & personal views of a few fish that had been able to get into the facility earlier, and their jumping attempts at entrance gates to a couple of holding ponds. For us, very cool to see, and it sure added some excitement to our stop into the facility this time! As usual when there, we did a complete (self-guided) walkabout of the entire grounds, catching all the sights and sounds along the way. And for the first time, we dropped into the main building - it houses most of the inside operational facilities, staff offices, and such - the foyer, is open to the public, and contains informational bulletin boards, signage, displays, and brochures of interest to visitors to the facility. Once again, our favourite stop-along-the-way to Harrison was fun and interesting, along with some exciting "fish moments".
