My lunch plans got canceled at the last minute, so I opted to secure lunch at the food hall. I'm glad I did. There was so much to choose from, and it was delicious.

Harrods Food Hall is an absolute delight and truly one of London's most enjoyable gourmet experiences. The moment you walk in, you're greeted by beautifully arranged displays, exceptional products, and a level of quality that makes even the simplest items feel special. From artisan breads and fine cheeses to fresh seafood, pastries, and gourmet chocolates, everything is presented with care and elegance. The atmosphere is luxurious yet inviting, and exploring each section feels like a culinary adventure. Whether you're picking up a treat, searching for the perfect gift, or simply enjoying the beautiful setting, the Food Hall consistently delivers excellent service, outstanding variety, and an unforgettable experience. It's a must-visit for anyone who appreciates great food and a touch of London glamour. Having lunch at the Grill was a nice experience.

    Beautiful entrance.

The Harrods Food Hall is one of the best in the world, and it's a must-stop for a foodie like me. I won't travel to London without at stepping foot here at least once per visit because I love it so very much. The space is massive and sprawling, and it's a true feast for the senses. The smells, the sights, the food...it's overwhelming! This food hall is a gourmet wonderland with fancy pastries, cheeses, sit-down bars and restaurants, and more. This isn't an inexpensive place to shop or dine, though, as the offering are luxurious. The decor itself is lovely (with marble counters and some employees in bowties and suits), and you'll pay a pretty penny to shop and eat here. Even if you aren't planning to drop some cash, it's worth a stop just to look around. The Food Hall is divided into different sections based on the type of food: meats, pastries, chocolates, cheeses, olive oils, artisan teas, wines, and more. The bakery counter is my heaven on Earth, with fresh and buttery croissants and other goodies that look to beautiful to eat ( I mean, even the baguettes are Insta-worthy). The seafood display is equally photogenic (and super expensive: think caviar, lobsters, fish filets, oysters and more). Macarons, fancy pants cheeses, jaw-droppingly beautiful chocolates...the food here could be considered works of culinary art! This isn't the place to go if you are avoiding crowds because its popularity means it can be wall-to-wall with people. Navigating the aisles can be tricky, so bring your patience (and let me mention again, your wallet)! The experience is next level during the Christmas season. The Knightsbridge tube station is right at the main entrance, and there are plenty of buses, taxis, and it's easy to grab an Uber. The Harrods Food Hall is a must-visit for anyone who loves food and wants a peek into one of London's most iconic culinary spaces. One of my absolute favorite places in all of London.

In comparison to the proper sit down restaurants, their food halls are not as pricey as I thought. It was very very crowded when I went, everything was cooked pretty fresh, there are pasta bars, sandwich bars. Their honey cake, lobster roll and seafood was amazing. There is no seating area and you are not encouraged to just eat it along the corridors of the dept store because it's very busy. So you gotta find your spot to eat it!

We loved our trip to Harrods while in London- so much we went twice! Our favorite thing was the doughsont (donut croissant). Tasted amazing!! We also enjoyed the hot pretzel, cinnamon bun, and brownie! An easy and cheap spot for a quick and yummy snack!

Great food and service! This food court is crazy, it feels like a five star restaurant! I only tried the fish and chips restaurant but from my experience I can say that all of the food here is definitely made to a very high standard. There is a wait so if your going to the store I would recomend asking first befor you shop but if you dont mind waiting 30 minutes then its not too big of a deal.

The Harrods food hall located in the basement of the department store is probably my favorite part of the store. The selection of food items is phenomenal ranging from butchers, delicatessen, cheese monger, fish monger, bakery and much more. The items are of a high quality and there is lots to browse and catch the eye. As part of the food hall are also a selection of cafes, bistros and eateries, all offering great food in splendid surroundings. Fabulous for people watching. Service is impeccable.

Christmas cake stocking stuffer. She shared a piece and it was so good!

My favourite food hall of all the large signature department stores in London. I grew up going to Harrods so maybe I'm biased but they have such a great selection. I highly recommend going when they open and not waiting until almost lunch time when it's jammed packed in there. The salads are amazing. Packed with ingredients and not too much lettuce/rice/potatoes. The salmon-broccoli-lemon salad is my go-to favourite. Their chocolate hall is amazing and the smell can't be beaten. Even when it's busy I don't find I have to wait too long to be helped. They have huge slabs, signature boxes of chocolates and seasonal 3d characters for Christmas, Easter, etc. They have the best selection of dates I've found in London. Expensive as one would expect, but so many flavours. You also have to check out the bakery for all the yummy pasties and their freshly baked bread. The smell is amazing! Also I know it's an expensive way to buy Christmas cake but it is definitely worth it!

So from the start this place is expensive... For just 3 coffee, a tiramisu, cookie, cinnamon bun, and a croissant came up to £75 or $100. Service was really excellent. Was able to get a seat within 5 minutes, and food within 10 minutes after we ordered. All I can say it was an experience to check off

*This review is for "The Grill". Iconic food hall in an iconic department store in an iconic city. This sentence should says it all. But, by nature this establishment is a tourist destination and more of the staff never see returning customers, at list anytime soon. Although quality of the food is good, but value is not that great in any sense. Don't get me wrong, eating at the food hall is an experience but you probably can have better food with the same amount of money else where. I ate at "The Grill" and ordered Steack Frites and burrata appetizer, appetizer was good and steak cooked alright, could be done better. Waitress was attentive but not overly very friendly. Ambiance? this is food hall. Means it is noisy and you can not hang out for too long after you are done with your food. Am I recommend eating here? Once in while if you are in town, why not.

Most people tend to whine about the prices here, and they've just added a new feature to complain about: No more paper shopping bags. If you need something to carry your stuff in, either bring your own, or get ready to spend £6 on their branded fabric ones. The crowds during the holidays also tend to make it nearly unbearable to shop here. Minuses aside, however, you'll rarely find the level of quality Harrods provides in such a large quantity, anywhere else. I have been shopping here for years, and whether I'm here for super brands or a not-so-short grocery stop, I never walk away disappointed (just annoyed). The first space in the food hall is dedicated to ready-made meals, uncooked perishables, and foodstuffs you can keep in the pantry. Again, all top quality. Next to it is the candy hall with a panic-inducing variety of confectionery items for both eating and drinking. If you go farther in, you'll hit the hall with shelf-stable goods like honeys, biscuits, seasonings, coffees, and spices. There is also a coffee bar here with some of the best-tasting coffee I've ever had and a hefty variety of cakes, tarts, and sandwiches; as well as a queue that can go around the hall on some days. Finally, you have the dining hall, which is a collection of small "restaurants" that are really just bars surrounded by stools with a kitchen in the middle of each one. Whichever one you choose, you're bound to have some of the best Mediterranean, Japanese, Italian, or British cuisine you've ever tried. My favorite thus far is Kinoya; the menu may be small, but it's the best ramen I've had yet in London. Take your pick, but if you're coming later in the day, make sure you come with plenty of time to spare, as this may turn into one of the longest grocery trips you've taken; if not thanks to the choices, then thanks to the crowds.

Kind of pricey, but definitely worth it. The best fish and chips I've ever had. #iraeats #iraeats1

I am very particular about this Food Hall as it brings great memories. Several decades ago l lived in London and this was The Alibaba tavern with towers of food and crustacé. I often founded the experience overwhelming. This is definitely one of the world's fanciest food halls. I love their caviar section and fishmonger's section. The service is very dedicated.

    Lots of tile here.
