When working with tax consultants, you would hope they'd have your best interest and finding you the best returns as possible, however this was not the case. Despite explaining that this year would be different and we should file it differently from the previous years, Nope! There was no listening, and would always steer us to the easy way out, always taking the standard deductions, even when it was not to our best interest. Which we later found out from another, much better tax consultant! Sadly, I cannot recommend Jet Tax, if you would've asked me years ago, I would have recommended them (and actually did to my friends and family! Never again!). Save yourself time and trouble. Jet Tax will only find the easiest and quickest tax filing method possible without listening to your situation and very dismissive.

We had such a good experience with Lily the first time, we wanted to come back to her. I went in Jan. to inquire about an appointment with Lily to file our taxes, but was told she wasn't there that night and they tried to get me to file my taxes on the spot since I was there; luckily I insisted to schedule an appointment and do things properly, while being prepared thoroughly..... just to find out later on that Lily no long works there, when my boyfriend called prior to the appointment (because they seemed odd when I was there, and vague when I asked about Lily) Anyhow.... after being deceived ...I thought I'd try them anyways due to the overwhelming good reviews on yelp.. but the same lady with a stern face and glasses attended me 2-29-2016, was less than friendly; felt like a session with a stern catholic school nun .... not pleasant. Before I even sat down, I told her I wanted a quote on how much my tax refund would be filing with them...since H&R Block and another flushing CPA (Ruth Wu - Sr.Accountant of Liberty Accounting & Tax Services) provided me with their quote. All she was willing to tell me was that it's $50 to file, take it or leave it.... but they won't offer an estimation to let people shop around. So why have me sit down, and then look at all my documents??? I get more friendly faces attempting to file my taxes online with turbotax right now... they got cute pictures too and very user friendly platform... not to mention, cost less too. In short.... you're a paid service.... so how about learning some customer service skills ?? a smile? nicer phrasing when speaking to people? Ask Lily to give you some tips if you guys still keep in touch. She was so friendly about 2 years ago, we still look for her... Yes, AVOID AT ALL COST! 1. The firm filed a tax extension…read morewithout telling me, that the government charged over $5000 to my bank account, if I did not have that much money in my bank at the time it will result in a fine. 2. When I called about this situation, they did not apologize to me and told me that the government will return the money when the tax has been filed, which takes about 3 weeks for me to get my money back. At the time I've only graduated for a year, if I had no savings and something major happened that I had to use the money, I'd had nothing to spend. 3. For my parent's tax, the accountant only submitted the amount stated on the W-2 form I send via email and missed the two 1099 forms I sent via email. We received a notice from the gov saying that there are taxes due for unemployment. If it wasn't for this mail we would not even have noticed the accountant did not see the 1099 form I sent to them all the way back in March. 4. I called the office and required an adjustment, but they dare to charge me $50 extra for them to fix their mistakes. If our family did not have a habit of saving money, we now have to pay back the government 4.5k. If we did not have the money in hand right now, we'd be doomed. 5. For instance, if we did not notice your mistake and you misfiled my mom's 1099 when the government finds out we will be charged tax evasion, and who will be responsible for that? If your firm did not dare to ask me to pay for the adjustment I would not write this review and let you fix your mistakes quietly. My family has been a long-time customer of this firm, and this is how you treat your customers. You guys should know that this is ridiculous.
