I had them replace a 4 x 6 bathroom mirror. They were on time and did a good installation. Quality materials too.

I've used their services before and was satisfied and have referred clients to them as well. This past week, the customer service was not good. I usually call in for service but this time, I was a walk-in and the hospitality was very cold. I explained that I had use their services before and refer clients to them. They warmed a little when I said that. The intake was fine and I was told the window pane would be ready "tomorrow". I never received a call and I let 3-4 days go by and still no call. I decided to walk-in and a different person (not hospitable) looks for my order and says it should be ready later in the day. He also tells me I was billed incorrectly so he has to raise the price for labor but will give me a discount on the labor. I waited patiently for him to find my order and listened to his explanation without interruption. When he finished, I went to respond and he talked right over me and I had to respectfully ask him to let me finish my statement. I did not argue the price increase, I commented on the lack of customer service. Although, I don't feel like I should pay for their internal mistakes. Obviously, I trusted that he was being honest and not just bumping the price because their costs wound up being more than they anticipated. I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I returned today for the glass and again, there was no hospitality. The gentlemen that serviced me yesterday looked at me and looked away. I didn't feel that my presence was welcome nor my business appreciated. As a business owner, I focus on warm hospitality and a high level of customer service. These guys just fixed our problem for $5 in under 5 minutes. Amazing! Our beloved dog passed away last year and we ordered a beautiful custom engraved walnut box for his ashes. The only problem was that the glass for the front of the box, where the photo lays, did not fit in the frame. I tried sanding the wood down to fit the glass but was not very successful at it. I decided to go the other route and see if I could get the glass made smaller instead. I stopped in to Harry's today and everyone was so kind and helpful and, Larry (the owner), got the job done right away. I am so grateful. I have twice needed small custom cuts and Harry's came through both times. Super friendly and quick!

I needed a glass shower door adjustment and they cut off the rubber on the hindged side and most off to other side of the door. This allowing water to make it to the bathroom floor and even through the floor into the basement. I called and sent pictures to the office with my complaint. I get a call back, about a week later and they wanted more pictures. I sent more pictures and they responded that they need to send a tech out, which I would need to pay another service charge and the cost of the rubber (which they removed). read more

As one reviewer said, "Not the Cheapest in town." Our management company for our townhouse called Harry's glass to look at a window that was leaking for one of the units. Harry's came out and said that they needed to do a water test to see what the issue was. They sprayed water on the window, and then just sent a bill for "Labor" on the water test. They said water is leaking in the window (which we already knew) and that we needed to contact a construction company to fix the problem. The worst part of this - a bill for $212.50. I have instructed the management company to not allow this to happen again. Not even a write up or anything was received. Just a verbal "water is leaking." Thanks for nothing...... read more

It took them 3 trips to finally do an install of my sliding glass door correctly and instead of being refunded the full amount of the installation when requested Robert yells at me because he's frustrated with his own crew yet still needs to make money off the job. It doesn't matter that it's an inconvenience to me to have to take off work 3 times to have this done, their bottom line is more important. Not the cheapest around but certainly one of the most efficient and effective glass shops I called (and used). Robert sent out Lipson (aka "Lipton" like the tea) to measure and replace a dual pane glass non-sliding window in our master bedroom with a tiny pinhole crack in it (left window, towards bottom right), which kept allowing in condensation and fogging up the window. I called many places only to find out they only install new windows, not replace broken ones. Harry's had a viable solution for my consideration, and upon acceptance, they had a new window custom-made and Lipson came to replace the broken window in less than an hour... no hassle, no mess, no problem. I decided to adjust Christmas lights around the perimeter of my house the day before Christmas. Unfortunately, the ladder I was using malfunctioned and crashed into 2 panes of glass. What a bah-humbug! After a flurry of calls to glass repair 'service' hot lines which were dead ends, I called Harry's Glass in Pasadena to replace the pane of glass that I brought to their shop. They closed at noon but made an exception for me to get the frame to them. I was very thankful. They also cut a piece of plexiglass to cover the pane I couldn't get out of the window frame. The final repair was completed after the holiday. I will use Harry's Glass for any future needs. One thing I learned was there are many glass places listed around my zip code area but these are "service" scams. Be wary of them. At least Harry's is a brick and mortal store front with a work shop and front office employees. I came in to have a cabinet door have glass placed in the middle. All I have to say is get your quote in writing. They told us one price then charged us double when we got there. No call was made to let us know the price has changed, just take it or leave it. I have to have my kitchen cabinet door back so I had to pay the new price. I should have heeded warnings from previous Yelpers regarding the customer service. Robert is very impolite and brusque. I needed a window at my work replaced and they were the first company I called. A guy named Jeff was nice on the phone so I'd like to give him credit but everyone else followed suit in Robert's incompetence and rudeness. I followed up with them myself after waiting 2 hours for a call back from Robert just to confirm with him that yes indeed we wanted service. Unbelievable. When I finally got a hold of him he was rude and didn't make it seem like he wanted my business. I had to keep prodding him for a firm answer on when the glass would come in and letting him know that he would need to call me to let me know. I'm giving Harry's Glass Shop 2 stars instead of 1 because Ruben, who came to assess the damage and did a great job installing the new glass, was sweet. The man he brought with him for the installation was very nice as well. Robert didn't even bother to tell them that they needed to come install the window after 10 so they showed up at 9 during our staff meeting and had to come back again later. They have to put up with Robert on a daily basis... I can only imagine what that must be like. This guy doesn't even listen to you when you talk to him. I would not recommend this company. read more

A couple of weeks ago I walked outside of my condo unit to do some laundry and ended up locking myself out of my unit. I could not move the sliding windows because I had window locks attached at the bottom. You know what they actually work. I tried to push the window to see if I could open it when it broke and shattered. Cursing to myself I knew that I'd have to find someone to replace it. Looking on Yelp I found Harry's Glass Shop and called them. I gave them the dimensions of the glass and they told me that it would be $109.35 to come out to replace and install it. I thought that was a great price. I set up a time on a Friday and they sent someone down at 9 am and the person was finished in about 20 minutes. The repair person did a great job. Hopefully I will not be needing the services of Harry's Glass shop anytime soon but if I do I know who to call. read more

Have used this company many times in the past but have mixed emotions about them....as they have NOT called back with promised quotes, lost my requests for new jobs.....and seem to always have lots of infighting going on behind the scenes. Also, after having them complete a large job, my daughter did a couple of quote requests with other glass companies and those quotes all came back at 1/2 to 1/3 the price that Harry's Glass charged...so I would do a bit more homework before settling on them again.
