They work and communicate the way it should be. Very nice, understanding, Mark let's you know everything you need to know about windows, what is needed by law, and everything you ask them, because that is their business! I've already told 3 friends, so hope they will use them too. I've had 3 other contractors here recently for other jobs, and none of them did what they were supposed to, but Mark and his crew got the job done, showed up when they said they would, got it done in the time they said (4 windows, 2 very large and 2 small). Over a number of years, Pasadena Window Supply has replaced the old windows, including 4 louvered windows, in my 1921 home with casements, double-hung, and other more modern secure styles. I am in the Eaton Fire perimeter, and I came home from evacuation to find my house still standing and, most relevant for this review, no ash inside any of the newer windows! 100% due to the excellent work by Mark and team. There are many things in life that make me happy. A great priced happy hour, a heavy handed bar tender, and muffled outside noise after having my new windows installed. I recently had my windows replaced by Pasadena Window Supply. Mark (the owner) is straight forward, responds back to your emails (unlike other companies), and does NOT require a minimum of windows to come out and measure. I only had 3 windows that needed to be replaced. I literally contacted 20-25 places and talked to some real idiots who would not come out without a minimum of 5 windows, or they wanted $50 to come and take their own measurements. NOT HERE. Mark had no problem coming out and taking his measurements. He was $1000 less than home depot and lowes AND did the work himself. NO SUBCONTRACTOR. Mark has his own showroom so you can go in and check out the products he offers. He gave me a great price and I'm completely happy with the outcome. Last year, our house was burglarized so we started looking into options to prevent it from happening again. We really didn't want the security window bars as they are so unsightly so we researched other options. I was able to find a new product : security window screens. The screen mesh is high density steel that cannot be cut and the frame is jimmy proof, so thieves cannot get to the window to even break in. Mark called the rep and researched installation method to ensure that he could do the job right. We ordered all screens with the easy release for egress and for easy cleaning. It takes about 3 weeks for the order since they are customized to your window. Guarda - Protective Security Screens is the company that produces the screens and they are manufactured in CA. We recently worked with Mark at Pasadena Window Supply to replace some of the windows in our home. When I called initially for the free estimate, Mark promptly scheduled to come by. He was on time and very knowledgable during the pricing process. We knew the type of windows we wanted, and quickly realized we couldn't afford to do our whole house, however, that didn't change Mark's attitude. He said he would do the front ones. Mark also talked us out of a more expensive window, because after showing me the technical data, it really wasn't what we wanted. Price was fair and combined with Mark's honesty, it was a no brainer. I did pull a permit for the work. Mark was helpful through the process provided me tips, information, and assistance through the process. Mark triple checked the order with me prior to placing. He kept me informed during the time after he ordered and when the windows came in. We were scheduled for installation the day after he had confirmed when the windows would be in, and that's when they were installed. Mark communicated typically through e-mail which I really appreciated (as it is easier for me to reply during a work day to an e-mail than a phone call). He always answered my questions within 12 hours via e-mail. On installation day, he and his crew were on time. They very quickly covered everything in the rooms they were working in in plastic. They actually vacuumed during their work and after so the place was clean when they were done. They worked quickly and efficiently, communicating the whole time about any potential challenges they were encountering. I had asked to save some of the windows, and they were careful during the removal not to damage any of them. The windows look great, are exactly what we wanted, and we paid a fair price for the knowledge, efficiency, and professionalism of Mark and his team at Pasadena Window Supply. The Pasadena Window Supply did a fantastic job for me. I own a townhouse with five 30-yr old windows and one glass door. I had many contractors come in and each wanted 2 hours to give me their sales pitch... I quizzed each one about installation techniques and it became evident that they had no idea what they were talking about, just sales men. Then I called Mark at the Pasadena Window Supply. What a difference. To start with, Mark will not only be the one assessing the work and pricing it, but will actually be the one installing it. No non-sense, he provided clear recommendations, carried top-line products, quoted me with the lowest price out of 5 quotes I got, close to the second lowest. Mark had taken measurements for the order of the windows. The measurements were perfect, they popped right in with no effort. The installation has now been in place for two years and I sure love my windows and glass door... what a difference. One important note is that a glass door requires the installation of wood trim / boxing to close the gap between the wall and the glass door. This guy is really talented and did an amazing job, especially since my wall opening (for the glass door) was not perfectly straight (30-yr old house)... but with the job he did, it now looks absolutely perfect. He really did a great job, left the house clean (he vacuumed the floor wherever there were any debris from the installation). He even processed for me the window manufacturer rebate that was in place at the time. His invoice was very clear and all along this was just one of those really good experiences. After not hearing back from Doors & Windows Plus in El Monte (so rude - waited 2-3 weeks to hear back from them - and never did), I decided to call Pasdena Window Supply. Mark (owner) came and did an estimate the same day I called. He got back with the estimate within 1-2 days and was able to order and install the windows before the deadline for the energy efficient rebates 12/31. They worked fast to install the windows - I think it took them 5- 6 hours, including clean up for 12 windows. The price and service were excellent. I love my windows!! Dropped off two screens for rescreening and got an estimate of one week. Wait for a call and then come to pick up. One went by and no call. Stopped by, still not ready. They've been busy I was told. We'll expedite it for you, It will be ready in 4 days. Went back in 4 days. Still not ready. They are really busy. How about next day or before 5pm. Left and 15 minutes later - they are ready. They were ready, but not marked in the computer as ready. Two screens (3x4 and 3x5), 4 visits, 2 weeks later and $65. Definitely don't recommend. read more
