We love this place. We go here for breakfast usually once a week. Sometimes twice if our friends want to go for breakfast on a Sunday. the breakfast special is priced well during the week ($5.99 I think) and a bit more on the weekend, but that's to be expected as it's a typically a busier day for brunch. We've been there for lunch a few times. Love the gyros sandwich. Kind of meh on the grilled reuben sandwich though. The staff is friendly and the service is fast. This is a regular joe place. A lot of seniors come in for coffee. There is a fair lunch crowd. It was pretty steady crowd coming in and out when I was there. I do know the coffee flow was very steady!! I ordered an omelette that took up half the plate and home fries plus toast. The plate was huge. It was good but not outstanding. I took half home! This place is a solid little diner in a plaza at Wharncliffe and Base Line Rd, in South London. Nothing fancy, but good. Quite small and cramped but that's not necessarily a problem. Kid-friendly but, again, not much space. I'm a big fan of their gyros: the pita is usually fresh and salty and the meat is well-seasoned and has a nice sear on it. Take-out available, and they're fast. Not sure if they have interac or not, so best to take cash. read more

Chaos is the only way to describe this place since it moved to the larger site. Ten minutes to get the coffee we ordered...at which point we would have ordered food? Been to the new place a few times now. They're waitresses are good with my son, they always let him pick out some candy (and always ask me first which I appreciate) after the meal. The food is decent. Nothing special but hey its a diner right ? Though the last time I ordered a wrap and whomever made it certainly needs to be shown how to wrap the tortilla shell a little better... it was a mess. They're also quick with the coffee. read more

I have been too a lot of breakfast places in the city and this place is definitely on the bottom of places to go! .Horrible homefries cold toast and eggs! .Was nearly impossible to get a refill on coffee and they are too expensive! .I must have had the most misrable server in the place. This place is incredible! Quick & friendly service paired with guaranteed delicious food. It has a buzzing family atmosphere that you can feel when you first walk in and a menu packed full of options sure to satisfy any appetite. The info here needs to be updated because the whole strip mall has been rebuilt and Harry's has moved to much more spacious, brand new premises. Mind you, the place is so popular that even with twice as many tables, if you go at 10 on a Saturday morning, you should expect a bit of a wait. The food is great -- they do maybe the best cheese omelet in London. Breakfast portions are generous and reasonably priced and available all day. Much better than some ghastly chain place like Denny's. They also do the best club sandwich in London since the old Paragon was pushed out of its premises. Friendly service always, even though they could use more staff during the breakfast rush. read more

the staff is generally rude and old and unattractive, they make me want to puke when they serve the food, the food was ok not spectacular.

My son and fiancé wanted to take me to harrys open kitchen for breakfast for Father's Day since I like the diner. I decided to go early so I could get a booth for us. At 9am when I arrived the older dark haired waitress (with the loud rude voice) told me I had to wait at the counter which I did. After five minutes a booth opened up for me and I was told I could sit there. I texted my son to tell him where I was and he said they were on there way. When ten minutes went by the loud mouth waitress came over in a loud voice and told me I had to go back to the counter. By the way there was no line up at the front door and just then my son and fiancé walked in. We ordered and I had the special liver and onions that came with a soup and dessert. I received my liver and it was burnt, the edges curled up and tough to chew. Since it must of been the first piece of the day I had yesterday's left over. As we were finishing breakfast, again the loud mouth told us we had to leave because we were tying up a seat and other people had to be seated. What gives, our waitress who we seen once never asked me what I wanted for dessert and never gave us the bill and we had to leave. A restaurant like that wants to herd you in and out just as fast with no smiles. Well I had to show them my appreciation when I went up to pay by debit. To let you know I'm a very good tipper. When I was paying by debit the TIP sign came up and went just as fast as we were told to leave. The tip was zero...maybe the loud mouth can explain to our waitress why there was no tip. I went today with my husband for breakfast. It was very busy & loud. Waited for a table to be free and just took the first one since no body noticed that we were standing there and no signs to "seat yourself". Sat there & checked out the menu & we knew what we wanted & just waited till a waitress came. She seemed a bit annoyed that we wanted to order the meal & drinks right away...she just wanted drinks. So then when the meal came, it was ok. Not bad but not great. don't think I'll be back for breakfast. sorry. read more
