This is a beautiful, luscious, & spacious 56 acre community park has been here since 1933 ! We stopped by on our way to Old Towne Orange Historic District's Antique shops. They have a horseshoe area, and for me, these overlapping trees are gorgeous. - watch video clip! In this day and age especially & regretfully, we just have to make sure that our surroundings are safe, and that's why I made sure to include the picture provided. So if you're in the area and want to have a picnic or leisurely stroll, etc. this perhaps is the best location.

This park has everything. I saw tennis courts, baseball diamonds, pool, several picnic tables, playground for the kids, a stage for concerts, BBQ pits, walking trail, lots of grassy areas. It's a great place to walk your dog. There's plenty of parking. I didn't use the restroom so I can't say if they're clean or not. This park has something for everyone.

This park is clean and very welcoming. I came 2 do sum pull-ups and the park was great.they have all kinds of equipment included @ this park. The pool wasn't open but it looks very clean and ready 4 the summer season Plus on the ground @ the children's playground there was no garbage. No plastic, no anything!! Great job City of Orange!!

A really nice local park just off the 22 freeway. There are 2 sides divided by a large parking area. Baseball diamonds, a walking trail to the Santa Ana River Trail, playground, concert dome with dance floor, pool, tennis courts, bathrooms, and covered eating area with grill stands.

Really great play structure with plenty of green space and trees for shade. Bathroom and water fountain available. Parking is a little tricky to find and not super stroller friendly to the play structure and lots of homeless people hanging around/ passing through

I've been coming to Hart park for around 15 years playing softball. I've lived in the area now for about two and this is the first time I've walked here and really explored the whole park. The park has a lot for everyone to do from two softball courts, two tennis courts, a football field could also be used for soccer, horseshoes, a huge pool, tons of places for party's or family gatherings. Lots of shade. There does seem to be an increase in the homeless population at the park, the whole south west side has quite a bit including by one of the softball fields and under the bridge. The bathrooms are quite dirty and this has been an ongoing thing since I've been going here for the last 15 years.

Update: 10/23 Clean and inviting. Santiago walk and bike trail is great for long runs, easy biking, and scenery enjoyment . A bit of homelessness can be seen, but nothing to worry about. It's a wide open park with lots of free parking. There is also a community pool and a large baseball diamond. lots of open space for barbecues and 2 main trails for running the West trail leads back to the city and the East trail leaves towards the Santa Ana river trail. The park is safe, clean, and inviting. Update. 10/2019: It's still a lovely park to visit and hang out. During the day... be careful on the further edges of the park, ie..the freeway area... a few homeless people will be in this area...often asking for handouts or soliciting help. Careful restrooms. Don't go alone...shady people are sometimes found here. Careful with people riding bikes at high speed, those with backpacks and regular clothes... often can be hazardous when walking along sidewalks.

Women's Bathrooms were disgusting. Out of toilet paper and not cleaned. Pee all over And only one stall. Gross.

I've lived in OC for 41 years, and this was the first time we used the pool at Hart Park. BEST POOLS EVER!! The staff was very inviting and friendly. The facilities were clean. Not crowded for a Tuesday afternoon . Thank you for such a great day and memorable experience for my daughter and myself.

It was early 90's when I heard about the punk shows at hart park! I used to hang out with punks back in the day, and then it all came to an end. When it blew up into a riot! (Only a few of us remember?) Any how it has become a family tradition to come out during the bloody hot summer days. They offer; Summer concerts on Wednesdays Pool for 75 minutes $2.50 (swimming under the stars) http://www.cityoforange.org/CivicAlerts.aspx?AID=225 baseball field easy parking bathrooms are "OK to meh" (just being honest) The park has big giant trees that are awesome for pinatas. In the last 25 years I have celebrated my fathers birthday to my children's birthday. To many bbq's with loved ones. Drawbacks; yeah they do have homeless ppl but they leave you alone. I have never had a problem with them. Perks; Summer concerts are donations based and you can either bring your own food and drinks. Those get jammed busy. Dogs and kids are welcomed. The pool is totally happening if you wish to cool off. Otherwise the Kawanis club sells food if you decide to show up. I have seen bounce houses at the park and for those I am pretty sure you need a permit. To acquire permit(s) for social events; https://eventsolutions.com/locations/company-picnic-locations/hart-park-orange/ The only other thing you need to be aware this park has an infestation of squirrels.

I try to use Google Maps to see how busy it is before I go in. I have never once had any personality or customer service issues here & I have always found the staff at the front desk friendly. Any time I have ever raised an issue about bathroom attention or a damaged machine, management has always been very attentive and corrected the issues in a reason amount of time. I love the variety of equipment and the overall layout of the gym. If I had any issues to point out, they would definitely be the tripod users, the clumps of people who gather around machines & barely workout, the overhead music can be too loud at times and the guys who seem to live in the toilet stalls. However, it's one of the best workout facilities I have been fortunate enough to work out at and it's super convenient to go to, so the positives outweigh the negatives by a long shot! Thanks EōS gym staff!!
