On October 18th I stopped into the Hart store to request a quote for a new pump housing and to place a service call for my noisy pump. Oct 22 I sent an e-mail as a reminder since I had not seen anyone. After several more days I called the store and was told it would be a couple of days. Four days later I called again. It has been over 2 weeks and no response. I give up, two of the times I actually spoke to the office manager. I'm taking my business elsewhere. I have never dealt with a business which has complete disregard for the customer. read more

I would have provided a "Zero" as a rating for an installation of a Pentair IntelliConnect system last September. I was told the system would be "programmable" with my Hayward pumps. They are not. The install had to be "creatively" installed with the relay switches on the system which did NOT allow programming. Then the system failed 5 months later and died on me. No support, no refund, no service. Not only that, I was told by an electrician that the system was installed improperly and not in accordance to building codes as it had exposed wiring outside of conduit in a pool system! I would honestly RUN from this company and UI would not even buy basic chemicals from them. I have sent a request into Pentair to see if they will stand behind their products. read more

We unfortunately have had a very poor experience with a pool replastering job and new tile around the waterline by Hart subcontractors. Everything was good with a few minor communication bumps. When the pool was finished, it looked beautiful. Then two months later our pool started losing significant water. The response from Hart Pool was very duplicitous. At this point I will end my review. If I could, I would have rated Hart Pool and Spa with 10 stars for awesome. From Rebecca in the office to Allan managing the floor, their customer centric business model is apparent in every visit to their store AND quite refreshing. I pass by several pool stores on the way to their store and would never return to those stores not only for their great pricing on products but Hart's customer service is superior. If I have several questions, it seems like I am the only person in the store and have never left without my questions being answered. In addition, I was having trouble with clarity in my pool and Allan provided a chemical to try to clear it up free of charge. It worked like he said it would and my pool looks fantastic. I contacted Hart about doing a one time cleaning for my pool. They agreed and scheduled me for Wednesday, June 10th. They said they would be out sometime between 1:00pm and 5:00pm that day and would contact me when they were headed that way. Since I had a couple of questions to ask the serviceman I decided to stay close to the house so I could connect with him when he got there. NO ONE SHOWED UP, MUCH LESS CALLED ME! To add insult to injury the called me around 10:30am that morning to confirm the address and appointment. Their business must be great because they certainly won't get much more with that approach. read more

We had our pool built 14 years ago and it was in need of tile repairs and cleaning. My neighbor recommended Hart Pools since they had used Hart the year before. We got three bids and we were most impressed by Hart. Brad, the owner, came out and walked the property, took pictures, and sent out each sub to inspect and consult with us on each stage of the process. We were scheduled and informed on each stage of activity. Rebecca, at their office, kept us up to date on who was coming, when, and how long it should take. She had a no problem attitude when other repairs not on our bid popped up. I would highly recommend using this company. Our pool looks like it is brand new! read more

They have worked hard to destroy a good business. Since the owner change, they have worked hard at getting 2 1/2 stars but really don't deserve it. They don't stand behind there products and just recently discovered that my 400k btu Hester is installed with a 250 gas meter. (Wrong!). I called Atmos yesterday at 3pm and had an upgraded meter installed this morning at no charge so it's no big deal to do it right. Customer service is a joke. Go somewhere else! BUYER BEWARE...With Spring approaching, some of you might be thinking about a new pool or a pool renovation. I don't have a recommendation on who you should use, but rather who and what you should not use. We used Hart Pool in Colleyville last Spring to replace our pool lights, pump and heater. Two of the three products failed within the first year. The products were all made by Pentair. Hart pool will not stand behind the products they sell nor their own workmanship. The lights were replaced due to a known manufacturing problem with Pentair. Hart and Pentair refused to warranty the heater, which was only used 3 times, before failing. They claimed chemicals were to blame. We get our water tested weekly and have over a year's worth of documentation to prove our chemicals have been at or near perfect the entire time. Pentair has a three year manufacturing warranty on the heater, don't believe them. The company will blame chemicals every time in order to void the warranty. I want to warn others before making such a large investment. Do not use Hart pool. Do not buy Pentair products. UPDATED 8/1/2019 We bought a new heater from Leslie's Pool Company. THEY WILL STAND BEHIND THE JACUZZI PRODUCT FOR 5 YEARS! Sorry Hart Pool....you and Pentair FAILED! And by the way- Pentair has no record of coming out and looking at the heater. They replaced the failed Pentair pool lights, but never sent out a second guy for the heater. And your secretary is driving customers away. If you are concerned about your company, start with her. And I also recommend you operate your company like your brother-in-law did. He would have come out to he house himself. This is not the Hart Pool Company it once was. I STAND BEHIND MY REVIEW...DO NOT USE HART POOL. **i would also like to mention that the heater they installed was too large for the gas line. They NEVER even looked at the line. They came to service our intermittently working spa heater and diagnosed a faulty wiring harness and guess what? Can't buy that so for $2800 said they'd be happy to replace our heater. We found the harness on the internet in a few minutes and had it replaced. They blew the diagnosis. It was a faulty gas valve. Which we had replaced for $400. Can't say we got anything other then a sales pitch for the $200 they charged for the "diagnosis". read more

It just keeps getting worse. I talked to the owner, after many attempts and was told that my issues are not under warranty and that I am out of luck in regards to receiving any help from Hart or Artesian Spas. When you buy something and do everything right and you have large unexplained problems, I expect help from the companies I work with. I am a large consumer buying tens of thousands of dollars in products every year. Due to general lack of integrity by Artesian the manufacturer and Hart the retailer we have just decided to handle this problem ourselves. It was a $534 fix and they said no. After so many attempts to try and get some satisfaction for my warranty problem, but alas, nothing. My advice would to find another retailer other than Hart, they are just awful, and as far as Artesian, I thought I was buying top of the line tub, but it comes with poor customer service so you better know what you are doing. 2 of my cushions have melted from overheating and my topside controller has calcium eating away at it. They told it was because I put too many chemicals in the pool/ I said, but I use your fool proof frog system and auto chlor, so how can I be putting too many chemicals in the pool. Just another half ass company who doesn't stand behind what they sell. Would never buy Artesian again or deal with Hart ever again. read more

I contacted Hart Pool about a year ago to find a leak in my pool. They came out, did their stuff and declared "no leak". Problem is the pool has a leak as verified by bucket test. When I contacted them, they came out again and declared "leak fixed". They are slow to come out, and cannot find my leak. read more

Have you ever had a really bad experience at a store and you are in shock that they can stay in business? This is it folks. If they ever tell you that your purchase can be returned, make sure you get that in writing. If they open the box for you in the store to show you what if looks like, and says you can return....make sure you have in writing that salesperson opened box and you can still return. I'm surprised this business is still open. I'm just shocked at how they treated us. We are honest and they are dishonest...the entire ordeal was shocking. read more

I bought a new spa for nearly $6K and was told that they would deliver it and set it up. Well, they delivered and charged me $400. Plus the delivery guys had no intention of setting anything up! I had the drill there ready to make the hole for the electrical and I had the electrical all ready to go. I had to ask them to help me install the electrical and after much insisting that they were not electricians and couldn't help me, they finally did. But they did not seem very happy to do it. I was expecting a start up pack with my spa - some chemicals to start it up. Nope! The delivery guys informed me that I only got what Karen had promised me in 'my deal'. So I would suggest if you buy anything from this place that you wheel and deal with them like used car dealers because that is how it works over there. No starter pack, an expensive delivery by guys completely uninterested in setting up my spa. Get everything in writing from them - or Karen will claim that she gave you the same 'spiel' that she gives everyone (used car dealer language for load of crap). Very little customer service after the purchase. The spa is nice, but I am afraid if I have any issues with it after the delivery service that I got this weekend. The new owner of Hart Pool doesn't understand customer service. We were long time customers, but will no longer do business with them. They will promise you everything, but after you pay they will never return your calls. So make sure everything is right before you pay. read more
