After purchasing my home right as the summer months were upon us, there were no other companies with availability. They're unprofessional and will attempt to scam you out of your money as they attempted to charge me a starting price of $1700 to open up my pool (eventually paid another company that charged me less than $300) as they stated the pool needed a full drain with acid wash. Then they claimed that filter cleans were $135 per clean and that mine likely needed at least 3, when the company that opened my pool included it in their price. The tech also used my pool tools rather than the company's, and then the secretary/manager (TJ) took the tech's side (without any discussion) after I complained about the pool not being vacuumed (not once all summer), walls being partially brushed, water left running from the hose into the pool all night without my knowledge, and the pool overall not being cleaned properly. They didn't even bother to have a ledger stating what pool services were completed or chemical levels until after I complained. Stay away from these crooks ... You've been warned.

The very next day Jacob was at my house replacing and upgrading the equipment in the rain with an umbrella. I understand what great customer service is. We were given a timeline of a month or two on completing our pool on December 2021. That included…read morecoping, tile and plaster. Tile was pre-paid, coping was selected and contract was signed. There were some issues with setting and managing expectations up front but in the end, we are happy with the final product. It is 4/28/22 and pool coping, tile and plaster are complete. We had a 4 month wait and it took 1 month to get the job done. There were a few unexpected expenses during the project but that is to be expected for a project like this. By the time the project was complete we ended up paying roughly 20% more than the quoted amount. Also, we had to choose different coping as the one we originally chose was no longer available due to supply chain issues. There are a lot of shortages going on right now. Workers and supplies. This is not a fault of Blue Escapes, these are just the times now and unfortunately, we along with Blue Escapes were caught in it. This along with price hikes on everything (plaster, tile, etc.) which we weren't charged extra for. Blue Escapes uses quality workers. Watching them lay the tile and take their time with each tile they laid just solidified why it takes a while to complete these remodels. The owner is an honest man who is a wealth of knowledge. Bob (the owner) came out to ensure each step was completed to his satisfaction.
