I don't recommend this place. The only reason it's not a 1 star rating is because they were very…read morepolite to me when I went to rescue my car from their grasp. First of all, they are way overpriced. Second of all, they aren't very knowledgeable. Third, they are just stubborn and won't work with you on how you want to approach the issue with your vehicle, even when they are recommending stuff that has nothing to do with the issue that brought you in. My car had a coolant issue and was overheating. I had already heard bad things about this place but I took my car there bc it is quite close to my house and you can't go far on a car that overheats. They charged $100 just to even look at it and got absolutely nowhere on the overheating issue. They recommended that I start by changing both batteries, for about $400 a pop. They acknowledged that there is almost zero chance this was causing the issue but wanted to press on anyway so that they "get proper computer readings". They had no clue why it was overheating. I have a German car and I know they're not worked on in every shop so I'm sympathetic to that. These guys insisted that their mechanic grew up in Germany and this was absolutely the way to go. They refused to try anything else unless I bought new batteries from them. So I fired them. Best decision I've made in a long time. In fairness, they were extremely polite to me when I came to pick up my car and give them their $100 (which I maintain was paid for absolutely zero benefit to me). I limped the car to Autobahn (formerly Bosch Auto) on the other side of I69. They assessed the issue (for free), replaced the coolant reservoir (it had leaked), and identified that the overheating was a gasket issue, which they also replaced. My car is working tip top now and the whole bill was $1,600. Christian brothers wanted me to get to $900 before they even started to address the actual issue that brought me in!! And they wouldn't take no for an answer. Just kept fighting with me on the phone until I gave up on them. The car has been running beautifully since I picked it up. And btw, still has the same batteries that Christian brothers wanted to take out and replace, which had nothing to do with the overheating or the empty coolant reservoir. Thanks Auobahn! Booooo Christian Brothers.

I can't express how relieving it is to find a mechanic you can can't on and even more importantly…read moreone you can TRUST. This guy is just that. Unbelievable! This shop has a new customer for life with me. I implore everyone to take all of their car needs to this guy before he becomes too well known! His garage seems like an unoccupied barn and I dropped my car off early in the morning before he opened so I was low key nervous I even had the right place. Plus I had him work on my mercedes which made me nervous cuz most of our local mechanics wouldn't even touch it cuz it's too "complex." I was being quoted $200 for an oil change and that's if the mechanic was even willing to do it in the first place. I am not the biggest car expert but it's wild that so many of the big brand shops in this country won't even consider doing anything to a car that isn't a Ford or Chevy. But this guy got mine tuned up, filled my tires, topped off my coolant all for $73! Plus he had it done lickity split. Well done and I can't say enough what a relief it is to have met him. This guy deserves to have the biggest auto business in the county but I'm selfishly hoping he stays as small as he is now because he simply can't be beat and I want to keep him as my only mechanic.

I can honestly say that I didn't feel like he was trying to squeeze money out of me. Why? You ask…read more Well... because he nearly convinced me to NOT get anything done during his initial inspection. Not even kidding. He was ready to pass on a quick easy job just to be fair and honest. Which I was super suspicious of (just kidding). So, back story. My wife was driving on 465 when she all the sudden heard a loud POP and the car started pulling heavily to the right. She was reasons shocked. So I googled auto repair near me because I definitely wasn't going back to the place in Indy I'd been before... reference my horrible review of Caliber Collision, and I found this guy. He's three minutes away from where I live and works out of a barn in his back yard so I was like, "whatever... if he does bad work I'll just Yelp him to death" and took my car to get it checked out. I was immediately impressed that the barn in in fact a legit mechanic workshop with hydraulic lifts and everything else you expect from a mechanic. So I was already impressed when he opened the door. Then he puts it through his 99 million point inspection and was like, "idk dude... I don't see anything wrong" to which I responded, "just replace the shocks anyway so my wife feels safe in the car". He already discussed pricing with me so I was good with that but then he comes out and says, "cool I'll have it ready for you tomorrow night". I was expecting like a week or something but he said less than 24 hour turn around. I was very impressed with that. Anyway to conclude this, I've gotten my car back and he did great work on it. Drives better than it did before. I am definitely going to be referring people I know to him in short order.
