I bought a new Bigdog mower 2 years ago. Didn't even get done mowing the first time and it died…read more Flieg's came out and picked it up and fixed it. Great service at that time. Now this year the mower starts smoking like crazy. I have Flieg's pick it up and found that the piston rings were worn because of a hole in the air filter. This hole in the air filter looked to be a burn possibly form an engine backfire. They tried to get Bigdog to warranty the engine but they refused. They turned to Kawasaki to warranty the engine and they refused. So I asked Flieg's to take the hit since they sold me on this mower by telling me it had a 7 year warranty. They failed to tell me that no one would honor that warranty. Flieg's doesn't believe in their product enough to stand behind it. I wanted to buy from a small town dealer but I should have just bought at a big box store. They would have at least made it right. Recently, I took in a Ryobi weed whacker that had run out of string and I couldn't figure out how to open the lid to replace it.
