First of all, the staff at this facility is amazing. Just super friendly and on top of it. The physical therapists, Justin and Tara, are both thorough, knowledgeable, and kind. They gave me a ton of exercises to help not only my mallet finger injury, but all the joints and muscles I regularly use at work. I found Hartt2Heart via search on the BCBS website (Kim's office is in-network under my PPO plan) and I'm SO glad that I did! I was diagnosed with De Quervain's tenosynovitis--a very specific little bugger to PT--but Kim PROMISED me that we would fix it... And we did! It took just under four months of consistent stretching, exercises, massage, ultrasound, and TENS sessions, but we got there! DISCHARGED! And back in the gym! I had a knee arthroscopy on my right knee on 7/16/19. This was my first ever surgery as well as my first experience with physical therapy. Kim and her staff at Hartt 2 Heart are out of this world! Everyone has the knowledge of how to get you back on your feet successfully as well as the good energy one needs to feel comfortable. Kim trains you and teaches you how to do the exercises at home in order to heal sooner. All of the massage therapists and other staff enhance the wonderful experience. So bummed out to be feeling compelled to write a negative review. Kim and her staff are lovely and do good work. My negative review is based on being blindsided by the fact that I owe a $600 balance. Before even starting treatment with this office, I made sure they were in-network with my insurance plan. When I called to make the appointment, I was offered to have my benefits checked for me and was ultimately told after the office staff had done so that, as long as I obtained a prescription from my doctor, my copay per visit would be zero dollars, and that as long as I continued to meet medical necessity, I would have unlimited visits. Wouldn't the average person hearing that information believe they owed nothing to the practice upon each visit? Don't you feel like at some point their dedicated billing person or someone in the office should have communicated to me that they are contracted with my insurance company to bill $75 per appointment (with an assessment session costing $150) and that, based upon checking my benefits "as a courtesy" they noticed that, because I hadn't met my deductible, I might have to pay that contracted rate of $75 per visit? Couldn't one assume that this would be part of the person's job who offers to check your benefits for you "as a courtesy?" To like, TELL prospective patients how much each appointment might cost? Because as it currently stands, what the hell "courtesy" did they do me? Apparently they found out how much each visit was going to cost me and kept that information to themselves. How courteous. I was allowed to come and go NINE TIMES from this office without even a single mention of a balance. And now I apparently owe $600. **I was misled - quite likely unintentionally - but I was misled. Under the logic that I was sent a copy of my benefits and should have known what to expect based on looking at a piece of paper that showed my deductible, I could have been charged an exorbitant rate like $400 per session and been expected to simply pay up. A business needs to be clear about how much they are charging for their services. This is the key piece of information that was never communicated to me on the phone, via email or text, or in person. And a business needs to be clear about this before the very first appointment, not after nine.** If you decide to receive treatment from this practice, please make sure you ask all the questions I didn't know to ask. read more

Highly recommend. Kim helped me get strong again for the second time! I had injured my left knee December 2019 and was referred to Hartt2Heart by Dr Christopher Lee - Stetson Lee Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, also highly recommended - and I had made amazing progress by the end of the 6 week/twice weekly physical therapy sessions in February to March 2020. Then COVID hit. I had to work from home, sitting on my couch for 8 hours a day. Not good on the knees. Both knees were affected by March 2021. I went back to Dr Lee and back to Hartt2Heart. With Kim's gentle instruction and assistance I regained my strength in both legs! Dr Lee was very pleased I have made this recovery. I have learned strengthening exercises I can continue- Kim has a sheet of exercises she works with you to learn. What an amazing Physical Therapy office! I have never been to a more professional, knowledgeable, and therapeutic office. Kim is an amazing Physical Therapist and is one of the most caring people I know. I fractured my fibula and tore tendons and ligaments in May. I found Kim on YELP and she has been nothing but a pleasure. I am recovering from knee surgery and Kim is gentle but also give me what she think I can handle for PT.
