I see they now have a website which includes a charming history of this family-owned business dating back to 1955 when the current owner's father purchased the property, as well as where the name "Echo Hill" comes from! I believe almost all the employees are family and everyone is always friendly and helpful. Granted, I haven't been here since moving out of state in 2020 and from reading some of the reviews, it seems their prices (like everyone else's) have increased, but this store always had the biggest selection of grains, flours, nuts, and spices, as well as packaging for homemade food gifts. Found this store online yesterday and realized it was not too far from me, so I decided to take a ride and stop in. So sweet and friendly. The owners are also extremely welcoming and knowledgable. They know the supplement business and refuse to stock their store with anything less than the best. They can give you the manufacturing history of each product, ingredient details, etc... They clearly really do their homework before stocking a product and they also try the majority of the supplements themselves! Not like when you walk into a national nutrition store and ask "have you tried it?!" And you get a "ummm..no".
