My wife and I went there Saturday 13 July. the building was nice inside and out. but that is as far as i can speak positively about the place. from the moment we stepped on under the porch roof we were treated like criminals. our bags were searched and told we couldn't have a large bag inside. if they are worried about a shooting taking place in that small building they have others things to worry about. like 4 dollar bottles of water. gouging people for a bottle of water is outrageous. will never go back there. read more

This place is crazy. By chance, my husband and I had chatted with a woman who works at the old railroad depot that's been converted into a community center/museum/welcome center and she said that they had had a lot of music performed there until The Harvester was built. So, later, we check out The Harvester. I don't know how you graduate from a renovated train depot doing community events to a center that has big name celebrities - frequently - but they did. The place is excellent. Great parking, great location, easy entrance, nice concession stand, not crowded. The stage is RIGHT THERE. In fact, we went to go see Colin Hay (lead singer of Men at Work with an impressive solo career since then) a few months ago and he made the comment on stage that he was glad that he had invested in a good nose hair trimmer and could flare his nose with confidence. Was there last night to hear Dark side of the moon Pink Floyd tribute. They sounded exactly like true Pink Floyd I have listened to fir years!! Acoustics were awesome! I can honestly say one of the best concerts I have ever attended!! read more

Great atmosphere and excellent staff for first time patrons. Keep in mind it is a flat floor so the gold section is worth the money. Stage area slightly elevated. The town and officers make leaving after the show quick and easy. read more

This is a wonderful venue. We have attended numerous shows here and never had Ava's experience. The seating is such that there are no bad ones. WOW, what a great treasure on the Crooked Road. This is a small venue seating only about 400 people at the most but don't let the small size fool you, they attract big name stars. The seating area is divided into two price ranges, "Gold Seating" and "General Seating" the Gold seats are slightly higher in price and allow you to enter first and sit closest to the stage. General Seats are behind the Gold section usually behind the people running the lights and sound boards. Don't let that worry your as they do not impair your view of the performers. As I said this is a small venue and there is no a bad seat in the house. You can actually see and enjoy the performance no need for video monitors or TV Screens like some of the large venues. I visited the Harvester on two consecutive nights seeing first the Earls of Leicester and on the Second Night, Ray Benson and Asleep at the Wheel. Both shows were totally awesome. Both night the performers seemed to enjoy performing in such an intimate setting. A number of businesses around the Harvester Center allows you to park in their lots for free after there business close for the day. You can also park across the street at the farmers market when the market area is not being used. Street Parking is also free and available. The staff and volunteers are are exceptional and got way above and beyond to ensure you have a great time. I totally enjoyed my visits and plan on returning often. read more

This is a great place. We have been there over a dozen times. Two of our favorites were The Bacon Bros. (twice) and Yarn. Must say that we have never been disappointed in any show or the way the it is managed. Great people, shows, and sound. Love it! read more

How lucky are we??? We have the Harvester Performance Center in our backyards! We've been to several performances there during the past few years, and have enjoyed every one of them. The seats are comfortable, and beverages reasonably priced. read more

One of the best venues I have ever been to, and we been to a lot. Perfect site lines from any seat. Great sound. Very nice staff. Large very cushioned comfortable seats with plenty of leg room. We make the drive from Greensboro NC 1.5 hours away and its well worth it. read more
