I doubt it would work for me anywhere so I wouldn't ding them for this dish which is an Acadian classic. I finished with the Swedish Apple pie which was also amazing. I would definitely recommend a stop at Red Cap if you are in the area. There was one server - as bast as I could tell - and she was so pleasant and attentive. She did a great job!

Probably one of the best, freshest seafoods Ive ever had. Absolutely delicious and spectacular. While we are on the subject we had extremely, friendly, great customer service. The restaurant is very homey, clean, and tight. I had the seafood chowder - so good. And Fish and Chips - awesome. And I washed it down with a nice Canadian draft brew. My GF had the seafood platter (clams, oysters, all that stuff) and she really liked it. Oh, yeah. Big tyme, big time. I saw someone gave a one star review. Disregard / overlook that. Its not credible.

My only suggestion is with the vegetable side, which appears to always be peas and carrots...I guess I would check in with the customer on that when ordering. I had no idea that peas and carrots were automatic, I don't eat cooked carrots, and they could have been saved for another customer. Dessert was a BIG hit with the group. Three ordered GIGANTIC slices of coconut cream pie and one, a most perfect slice of strawberry rhubarb with cold house made vanilla ice cream slowly melting on the top. Overall, a lovely night.
