Then when a doctor yells at you telling you "she should have listened to a receptionist(Barbie) about my medical advice" makes you wonder what kind of doctor you are dealing with. I went to her complaining about an allergic reaction to her nurse practitioner & a week later to her then when my heart doctor caught it and sent me to an allergy clinic she got all mad and said "i dont use that one & that i have to use to allergy clinic she uses". She asked me why I didn't inform her about the allergic reaction I told her I've been in there twice in the past 2 weeks complaining about it & that the hive make my throat swell closed and all she told me was "it was indigestion".So when I was in there today and she realize she made a mistake and it was not indigestion I became a very stressful patient she couldn't deal with me no more and I had to find another doctor. When i asked her what did i do wrong? she had nothing to say. Then wonder my patients get the way they do! I would like to thank dr. Akbar for showing her true colors and what kind of doctor she is. When she tried to scolled me about another doctor catching something she missed it's time to stop holding your tongue and cuss them out. It was pretty funny when her receptionist thought she was going to tell me I cannot speak to a doctor that way but I'll be damned if I'm going to let a doctor or a low-paid receptionist speak to me in that tone without cussing them out. Then if u have a problem and want to talk to the dr. her low paid receptionist won't let you talk to them the doctor you have to make up a lie to get in to see her just to discuss your problem. Prior to the major surgery, the same patient saw Dr. Iqbal for his sudden shortness of breath and sky high blood pressure. He was told he probably only needed Xanax. When he presented at the ER with the same symptoms it was discovered that he needed triple bypass heart surgery (the one this doctor believes he should be able to recover from in two weeks). Same patient suffered a stroke which left him with temporary paralysis on one side of his body. Dr. Iqbal believed he should return to work at his warehouse job in a couple of days despite his paralysis.

The second time he waited almost 3 hrs, and finally he walked out of the room they had put him in and EVERYONE was gone and ALL the lights turned off! He left & called the office 2 days later to complain and their response was "Anyone that comes to Dr. Moody KNOWS its at least a 3 hour wait to be seen". They asked if he wanted to reschedule and he said yes, and they tried to reschedule him 4 months out. My husband said no thank you. So he complained to McLaren systems,(which is the hospital that Dr. Moody is affiliated with) and only then did Dr. Moodys office call him and try to work something out. No other Dr. or medical center/system thinks it is okay to make a patient wait 3 hrs. The staff at his office are RUDE! My husband has since transferred to a Dr. that CARES! Good riddance to DR. Moody and his RUDE staff!
