First time ordering from here as I decided to check them out in honor of their 420 deals (or so I thought because there's no deal if ordering delivery) . Also because they carry Dime Industries and honestly it wasn't worth it. No first time customer discount which already felt like a miss. The delivery was even worse. $13 delivery fee and then I find out the driver doesn't carry change. Not just that driver either - I called the store and they told me this is their standard and it's expected all change is additional tip so it's basically expected. That puts you in a really uncomfortable position because you're forced to overtip or figure it out on the spot. I ended up tipping cash thinking that was it but then the card machine added another $5 tip on top. 20 minute ordeal because the driver didn't have my $10 for change and card machine wasn't working. Ended up tipping that much after all btwn. Card & cash. The store couldn't take my payment over the phone either. Total tip came out to $21 which is crazy for what it was. Between the fees and the way they handle tipping I wouldn't order from here again. Not to mention I ordered hours before on Weedmaps awaiting my delivery which was cancelled. I was told they have no officiation. Why not attempt to resolve w/Weedmaps as I am sure I am not the first customer this has happened to. I did not receive my order until after 9PM read more

Have been here several times before, inside and have placed orders for pick up. The workers are well informed and very helpful. They have a huge selection of cbd and thc items in various forms - tinctures, gummies, etc I have opted for cbd gummies for better sleep at night. Today, for the 2nd time, my order was canceled and I received neither a text message nor a phone call as they claimed. 5 stars for price, 1 skinny star for their poor attention to customer service. I had to change my rating because they used to have great sales. It would switch from 25-40% every other week which is wonderful but lately they've been sticking to the 25%. This is the best dispensary in the area because of the staff alone. I always get excellent staff members but when I went last week we got Jay. He was kind, knowledgeable and so patient with mother in law when she had a million questions on what to use for a good nights sleep. I have to be honest but I have been going to this dispensary since it opened and aside from the long lines, I had no problem. The staff have always been very nice, friendly and helpful. However today, I had the worst experience with the security guard, who was rude, nasty and power hungry. He spoke to me like I was a piece of sh*t and didn't care what I had to say which left me with such a bad taste in my mouth and awful experience that I can't imagine going back here again. There are too many dispensaries around to put up with rude people and unfortunately the negative goes to the dispensary for hiring him as well. Yet again this place got goo deals but the waiting rate through drive thru and inside is crazy ridiculous. Idk why I have to wait 20-30min for an order when things are packed already. It's insane. As a former resident of both San Diego and Denver, I can say with certainty that Hashery has a nice aesthetic. Once NJ gets a little older in the tooth with the weed game, then you'll start to see some really great pricing. But for now, I'm sure everyone is happy with the current situation. The search for "my" weedshop in NJ is over. California reigns supreme for shops that have an actual charm instead of the cold, vibe-killing retail clones so prevalent here in NJ. I mean wtf, did Nj legislate style out of stores? True, Hashery has the same godawful fluorescent lights and sterile decor as the rest, but the one element they have that rises above the others is their staff. Super chill, super helpful, and really nice all around. They guided me to the exact kind of highs I was looking for. It also doesn't hurt that they have the most reasonable pricing in the region. Plus Drive-Thru! No comment about that as I haven't tried it. As for selection, it to be on par with that of Rise and Apothecarium. read more

I had an absolutely horrendous experience at Hashery, and I feel compelled to share it to warn others. My friend and I decided to visit this hashery dispensary, thinking it would be a pleasant experience. As soon as we stepped in, I presented my ID without any issues. However, my friend had forgotten his ID. Instead of handling the situation professionally, the security guard was incredibly disrespectful. He immediately yelled at my friend to "get the fuck out" in front of all the customers. My friend, trying to avoid further conflict, simply walked out quietly. What happened next was even more shocking. Despite the fact that I had my ID and my medical card in hand, the security guard turned to me and said, "you think this is a game? You can get the fuck out too." I was completely baffled and humiliated. We had done nothing wrong as my friend had already walked out, and yet we were treated with such hostility and disrespect. I felt embarrassed and I felt discriminated against This kind of behavior is beyond unacceptable. The staff at Hashery clearly have no respect for their customers and lack basic decency and professionalism. It's one thing to enforce rules, but it's another to treat people with such blatant disregard, disrespect, and aggression. I would never recommend this place to anyone again. I used to be a regular at this place...not anymore. There are plenty of other dispensaries like Ohm Theory where customers are treated with the respect and courtesy they deserve. Save yourself the trouble and avoid Hashery at all costs. They don't deserve your business, and you'll likely end up regretting the visit. Awesome Place, Customer Service is exceptional. I had an issue with an order and I got the wrong pre-roll. It was an honest mistake, as I added it on impulse. I called to let them know, and I was expecting to hear "Nothing we can do since its been opened". Dan told me the opposite and it was no issue and to go to the store. I was given the pre-roll I wanted and some extra goodies for the inconvenience. He went above and beyond in my opinion, especially given the customer service I have received in the past from other dispensaries. I've been going here for months and was so excited when they opened up by my house. I never had an issue until today. I'm still in shock at the way I was treated by a staff member here. My girlfriend placed an order for drive-thru pick up earlier in the day. I was set to pick it up at 7:45pm. I arrived a little early and called the store to confirm that it was okay to go earlier. The staff member was very nice on the phone and said it was okay. I pulled up to the drive-thru, gave my ID, and waited for the order. I was then given the card machine and the order total was $63 dollars. I had the order confirmation in my email and knew the order was only $50 total for a pack of 7 mini pre-rolls. I asked her why it came out to $63 and gave me a short summary of taxes in the state of NJ, how they round up to the nearest 10th, extra charges when you pay with a card, etc. I thought it was weird but it sounded legit so I said okay and paid. I go to dispensaries all the time, I know there are usually extra charges and they give you cash back but a 13 dollar difference didn't seem normal. I believed she explained it well so I took the order and pulled out of the drive-thru. Here's where the wild experience starts. Side note (because it's important), I pulled off and got right back on route 17, as I was driving to Hackensack to leave flowers at my late cousins memorial. My mind was not in the right place to begin with. I didn't think to check the bag. So, I get to my destination, leave the flowers and decide to look in the bag. I notice that I was given a vape cart and not pre-rolls. I call the store and POLITELY tell the girl that answered, "hey I just picked up an order at the drive-thru and I was given the wrong thing." I proceeded to tell her what I was given and what I ordered, gave her the name, etc. She says hold on for a second and then comes back. She then says (word for word), "First of all, I'm trying to say this as professionally as possible without sounding rude. Next time I'm going to need you to check the order before you leave. That's our policy. If you come into the store and leave with the wrong order, that becomes your problem." but this wasn't said in a calm, kind way. This was said in an EXTREMELY rude, aggressive tone. She was acting as if I called her with an attitude of ANY sort. I said okay.... I understand that but I assumed if I gave my ID I would be given the right order. I had to go somewhere and left without thinking to check because I didn't expect to be given the wrong item. She continued to have the nastiest attitude and tell me what I should have done. As she's talking, I noticed the customer name on the bag was a whole different name. So I tried to tell her "oh actually it has another name on it.. " I then said, when I come in, will I be refunded for the difference? She says (with a disgusting, disgusting attitude) "No we charged you 63 because ...etc etc. You were charged the right amount". I said "well I'm looking at the receipt and it says I was charged for the cart not the pre-rolls" and she gets EVEN MORE nasty and says "are you going to let me talk without cutting me off 5 times?! are you going to let me talk?!" I said "I'm not cutting you off at all, I'm trying to tell you I have someone else's order. At this point I'm STILL calm and respectful and told her she was being extremely rude for no reason. She continued to be disgustingly rude and said "you know what, I'm not going to help you over the phone, come in, I'll be waiting for you." and hung up on me. I'm so serious, I have never in my life been treated like that or spoken to by someone in customer service the way this woman did. I was physically shaking. I had already had a terrible day and did not need to deal with the shocking response that came from her. I was making my way over to the store and I got a phone call from another woman. The woman apologized and asked me for the name on the order I received, so that she can have my order ready for me when I walked into the store. She said she would be waiting for me and was the woman with the blonde hair. I'm not sure who she was but SHE was very nice and kind. I said thank you so much and went to the store. The woman met me at the counter, gave me my order, my correct change, a lighter, and some stickers. I'm not sure who I spoke to on the phone but she shouldn't have a job at all. She shouldn't be able to speak to people how she wants if she's having a bad day. I have never been so disrespected in a store. I treat people how I would like to be treated and you never know what someone is going through. Safe to say I'll never be coming back here again and neither will anyone I told about this place. I know business wise that doesn't matter, as there are many customers, but that's not the point. read more
