My fiance and I met her there and looked around. She had the contract ready in her hands. She was going over the contract and I looked at her and said, we only wanted to come look. She was not happy as she thought she was getting $550 that day. My fiance and I loved the place. She said sometimes the rentals go quickly, so we ended up paying that day. We had attended my cousin's wedding there in October 2019. I had made the food for her and was allowed to use the kitchen there. The oven broke halfway through cooking the chicken. We couldn't get her on the phone to come fix it. We had to drive the Clarion to finish cooking the meat. The bathrooms were filthy as well as the kitchen. My friend gave the kitchen a COMPLETE scrub down before even starting to cook. There also was ZERO hot water available to wash dishes. (IN OCTOBER)! My cousin did not get a dime back from this catastrophe. I received a phone call from her in regards to our rental. She had stated that she booked our Sunday for a graduation party, so we would no longer have Sunday to clean up. THIS WAS THE WHOLE REASON I BOOKED THIS PLACE. I didn't want to have to clean up Saturday night. I still had to pay the same price as someone who got Sunday to clean up, because it's not in the contract that you get Sunday. It was verbally agreed upon when we signed the contract, but now it's not valid. I am canceling. I refuse to give her another dime. She will not return any money as we paid it 2 years ago. I will never recommend her building no matter how beautiful it is. No one deserves to work with a woman like her.

Our first floor room was spacious and clean and had a rear door to the deck and a front door to a shady courtyard area. It was quiet and comfortable with a casual outdoorsy vibe, not a luxury hotel experience. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We didn't expect breakfast to be included, but they had a small continental setup with fresh muffins, fruit, yogurt and cottage cheese each morning. There is also the winery, the pizza restaurant, and the nicer Allegheny Grille all within a short walk.
