I scheduled haircuts for my kids and after he finished he told me the cuts were $10 EXTRA each. As you can see in the photo the price was posted as $30 each for kids. He gave my kids fades, no lines or anything special. He didn't even put product in one of my kid's hair. Honestly I don't think that he's that good of a barber but it's easy to get booked with him and he's close to where I live. I just don't appreciate him changing the price from what he posted. I called ahead after messaging through Yelp and I was told I could walk in. I showed up and was taken care of almost immediately. I'm sure they are busy on other days I just happened to go in the middle of the week. Had a great experience with Dnyce. Came in on a walk in while shopping at the mall around the shop. He was comfortable with his techniques which, as a barber myself, payed attention to. His fundamentals were on point where he had an efficient process to get you optimal results without taking up your whole day. I requested a blended medium high razor fade that was just what I asked for, with solid shear work to blend the the sides into my longer top. It was interesting he also had a cosmetology license, which paired with his barbering experience, allows him to be versatile and bring the best of both worlds to a haircut and made me suave. I'd really like to come back when I'm in the area again. It was cool talking to him also. Pricing was fair and competitive which I respect given the cost of living in the Bay paired with the taxes independent contractors have to pay. Dnyce makes sure you're comfortable during the process. The chair cloth was thin and breathable for a hot and the air pressure blower he uses to clean added a cooling no contact sensation ideal for the hot summer day. Check him out! This is by far the WORST barber shop I have ever taken my son to. We asked for a comb over style, my sons hair was super long and the barber that he got not only did he cut it too short, when he lined him up, it was soooo uneven, he had to cut my sons hair all off! I have really thick hair and it's hard to find barber's that will take the time to properly clean me up. My 1st time here was awesome. Fam cut my face with the clippers, pulled out the straight razor, then pulled out the electric razor. I was really impressed with how clean it was. The second time "no". I just left today and I have so much hair on my face I need to go somewhere else for a proper clean up. My beard is so crooked I look like I had a stroke and my face is sagging. I've been trying to refind this Yelp for a hot minute. I needed a last haircut before a video shoot I had completely forgotten about and I called him hoping he'd be open still. Though he was already in the 80s headed back East he turned around, came back and gave me a fire ass haircut. I'm from Texas where we get a barber and never cheat but being out here I've been to 25+ barbers and always had something wrong with the fade. I took my nephews to get cut by Dnyc for the first time and he did such a great job. My older nephew has received several compliments on his tapered nappy fro which rarely happens, Dnyc was also able to restore someone else's bad work by making the flaw nearly invisible.
