Found a nice little barbershop in Castro valley. Found Danh on booksy and I must say I enjoyed this cut. Danh is precise and detail oriented. I asked for a mid drop fade and and it is one of the best that I got in the East bay. Danh will take time during his cut to stop and ask if you like the length or style and if you wanted any change before he keeps going. Couldn't find the shop from the back of the building where I did see there is parking, but I couldn't find an entrance, so I parked on the main street. Selected one, s teen shot and made an appt. On line with Vincent. Showed up to a very clean well Decorated masculine space. Vincent was very welcoming but Teddy Bear a 9 month old Malti-Poo stole the hospitality show Nice beverage counter and snacks available For clients. Everything was perfect and the hair cut had not even begun. Showed Vincent the photo and he delivered. He was very patient and good with his client We did not tell him that his client was autistic Vincent engaged in conversation and was very patient with the unconventional answers that he received. Had 2 hairs cuts in same day. 1 for my dad, and one for my son. We weren't able to get them back to back so we had to come back a couple hrs in between each appt. We heard good things about this barbershop but weren't able to get an appt with the either of the 2 main barbers for a couple weeks out. So my son opted for the newer barber. Both appts ran 30-40 minutes late. My dad is balding so he was done in 15 mins and he didn't have to do much. My son, however, has long thick curly hair. When he started the appt I told him since he ran 40 minutes late we had another appt and we could reschedule or if he could do it in that amount of time we could finish. He said he could do It so we stayed. He finished within 15 mins as well and did a completely dry cut and low taper on curly hair. I was kinda shocked I never seen that before. This experience wasn't the best. Next time hopefully he can get one of the 2 main barbers , if he wants to go back. But 3 stars because the owner was nice, shop was clean and the owner has a super cute shop dog. read more

The best barber in Castro Valley hands down. While they dont advertise childrens cut they do an amazing job with my 2 little boy (5 and 2). The barbers are nice, personable, and they keep a clean shop. FYI there is parking in the back lot and they give lollipops after the cut. #winning read more
