Left in a real mess by Warriors Construction but Paces Contracting came in and put our home back together better than before the flood! A few tweaks and we were left with a beautiful home. This company (Troy Mosel and crew) were a pleasure to work with. We know who to call when we need help again.

Drew was very polite, knowledgable and helpful. The mason did an excellent job rebuilding our brick mailbox.

I'd give lower if I could. It started out fine, then delays, then denials, feel derailed.

I contacted Top Choice Restoration after the rental home I am living in experienced water damage as…read morea result of a broken and leaking hot water heater. The leak happened five days prior and I have just been able to get a plumber to install a new hot water heater. I explained this to the gentleman who picked up the phone (he explained he was one of two techs) and he said they could come between 3:30-4:00PM to do an estimate; with the understanding that the landlord (who is living abroad) would need to sign a service authorization. Unfortunately, Top Choice was a no-call, no-show. I attempted to call them back but they did not answer. It's now 7:17PM and it's too late to get anyone else to the property; I called and made the appointment at 12:25PM. This is incredibly disappointing as water is very destructive and each day becomes more dangerous (in terms of mold) and costly to repair. It would have been my expectation that knowing this, if they were unable to come out to property, they could have done me the courtesy of at least letting me know. I am giving two stars because the customer service over the phone was pleasant. I am just disappointed that is where the pleasantness ended.

Well, maybe once in four months they showed up on time. In an attempt to fix one thing they break three other things. Michael, has had five screaming matches with me because I asked him to do what he committed to doing, which is to get my house back in good shape after a fire. And he's dishonest. He builds insurance company for repairs that are not needed. That should've been a red flag for me.. and monies that are not rightfully his. He expects me to pay for the materials that I had to Front money for. In other words, he wants to be fattened while the customer is left, having not been made whole. I would love to give a great review, but that would be dishonest. And normally I would not give a bad review. But honestly, I did attempt to protect the next person, I feel it to my duty to tell the truth. Run~ ~ ~ Oh yeah, when he doesn't get his way, after screaming match, he will threaten you. This is standard fair for him. Unprofessional, unqualified. In fact, I may even report him to the contracting board. If you don't believe me, there are other reviews online at BBB complaining about them. I wish I had seen them prior . Run ~

Hasi is the owner and he really helped us out with a house we are selling…read more We had some fungal growth in one part of the finished basement. Our agent gave me 3 companies, and we don't live in the area so everything is done via phone call, emails etc. One company never called back. Second quoted a ridiculously high price over the phone after asking about square footage and type of house. I made an appointment for the third company to see and quote, who then called back 2 hours later saying the manager/owner would charge $250 for the visit because we are selling the house, which makes no business sense. I found Hasi's company on my own. Hasi answered the phone himself and said this clean-up would not be cheap but shouldn't cost more than a few thousand dollars. After visiting the house (no charge), he gave a bid of ~$2300. He sent photos with his detailed quote that stated how many days the clean-up would take and the type of cleanup and equipment he would use. During and after the cleanup, he sent photos. His initial bid photos included his van in front of our house as visual proof he actually went. Payment and invoice were electronic, so it's easy to view and take care of. Sometime during the project, he mentioned he does a lot of property security (eg boarding up and re-keying vacant houses) for a big real estate company I actually knew about and couple of my real estate friends had worked there. Hearing this gave me additional assurance that Hasi was reputable. Hasi's communication, quality work, and reasonable price really helped out my family.

My list of dissatisfaction with this company could go on for days but I'll try to keep it specific…read more After a tree feel into my home in March 2025 I was connected to PDR through my insurance provider. They completed the mitigation, pack out and return but I chose not to hire them for the restoration of my home after a rocky first impression. I hired a different contractor that went horribly wrong. Despite not having a very high opinion of PDR and I ended up hiring them to undo and correct everything the original bad contractor did. They had to completely rip out a poorly installed tiled shower and replace with a cheaper fiberglass surround complete with a handheld and overhead rainshower fixture. PDR sub-contracted the job to PDP. After installing the fiberglass surround and shower fixture the worker was unable to get the water to turn on. He had failed to check the connections before installing the walls. He also assumed the lines were installed correctly, despite my telling them multiple times and him seeing first hand that the previous contractor did everything wrong. The PDP worker had to remove the wall he had just installed to locate the issue. He found the problem and made the correction but again failed to check the rest of the plumbing lines and proceeded to re-install the wall. Now the shower is fully installed but water is coming from the handheld and the overhead rainshower and the diverter doesn't work. The worker insisted the diverter had to be bad. I decided to use the diverter from another shower and hired a plumber from Estes to install it. With just a brief visual observation, he determined it was likely not an issue with the diverter and rather an issue with the connections behind the wall. (This is the level of professional knowledge I expect from a major reputable company.) We confirmed his suspicion by comparing pictures I have of the plumbing behind the wall to the diagrams in the shower installation manual. They were indeed not the same. PDR's claim is that they did not do the plumbing behind the wall so therefore they are not responsible. But PDR was hired to UNDO and REpair all of the bad work done by the previous contractor. THAT WAS THE ENTIRE PURPOSE OF THIS JOB! I was very clear about what I needed fixed, EVERYTHING! They SHOULD HAVE done the plumbing behind the wall, or at least identified and made me aware of the issue before proceeding with the installation of the shower wall and fixture. I don't know why it was not included in the estimate because I stated several times everything done by the bad contractor was BAD. I am not familiar with the intricacies of construction estimates but when I saw the shower faucet listed on the estimate for installation I believed that included the necessary work to properly install a fully functioning shower. None the less, if the issue had been properly diagnosed and brought to my attention as it should have been, I would have approved any amendments to the estimate to have the job completed correctly. I thought I was hiring a top notch professional restoration company. It would seem to me that a skilled professional would double check for accuracy in the plumbing BEFORE sealing the wall especially considering the entire focus of this job is to correct the mistakes of an inexperienced contractor. This level of incompetency and negligence makes me feel like I hired yet another fraudulent company. I would like Paul Davis Restoration to do whatever work is required to correctly install my shower faucet as agreed and to make any repairs needed to the shower wall and surrounding areas impacted by this correction without charge.

I strongly advise against using this man's services--my experiences with him have been consistently…read moredisappointing. On multiple occasions, I entrusted him with important tasks, only to receive substandard results. During a recent job clearing a property adjacent to mine, he carelessly demolished my expensive mailbox. In its place, he hastily installed two flimsy plastic mailboxes. To add insult to injury, he mistakenly claimed that my guest house was registered under a different address than my home address. Seriously? Furthermore, these new cheap mailboxes flood with water every time it rains, turning what should be a simple task into an ongoing nightmare. I also hired him to install a toilet in my bathroom. Once completed, the seat was installed crooked, and the plastic hinge that held the seat in place was broken and disconnected from the toilet. He charged me $140.00. I hired Lee to install installation in my Home Depot storage shed. He replaced the original shelf in the shed with a piece of wood that was half the size of the original shelf without explaining why. It cost me an additional $40.00 to replace the shelf, and it took him several weeks to complete the job. Speaking of being irresponsible toward your neighbors and customers, Lee started three brushfires close to my property line, one at night and two during the day. The wind was blowing toward my house, and the smoke was so thick that my tenants had to evacuate. Lee had no backup water supply for the fire. I had to call the fire department to extinguish the fire, and the only thing he could tell the FD was that I was playing games. It was not a game I feared for my property. Do not hire this individual. My mailbox has been in its location since 1959, when the house was built. According to the survey, that is my property. The guest house does not need its own mailbox, and no one told you to place two cheap, leaking mailboxes. The address is the same for both houses, so according to the post office, only one box is needed. You are the one who knocked it down, so do not lie about it. You told me you knocked it down. Your nighttime fire was not legal, and when you start a brush fire, you are supposed to stay with it and have a water line available. The third fire was left unattended. You do not own the road. It is for everyone to use.
