Needed inspection for possible total roof replacement due to storm hail damage. First thing he asked was what insurance company? When I told him, he said they are very difficult to work with. He then told me I would have to be the one dealing with them directly. I think I just laughed at this point. I had gutters installed. Excellent customer service. Excellent communication. Gentleman came out to the house on time. Took a tour around the house gave me the estimate and a few days later was givin an appt. Great group of nice guys came out to the house went straight to it. I had a clematis vine climbing up one gutter i stood there and watched the guy gently move my little vine off the old gutter. After installing the new gutter gently placed her back to her new home. I love that. She's very happy and doing well. My house looks great. I went from boring white gutters to sexy black gutters. Changes the whole look of the house. Great job. Will absolutely use them again and recommend them to my neighbors. read more

My gutters ended up being installed by a subcontractor. They showed up much later than the original time I was given. A month ago I walked around to the front of my house and was shocked to see my gutters and fascia board hanging down from one end and laying in the flower bed all the way across the front. I called the siding installer and the gutter salesman. They both blamed each other, but siding guy did offer to replace the fascia and one piece of damaged soffit. The gutter salesman called while I was away the next day and offered to come and look and take pictures of the damage. As of today July 10, I have not heard a word from the gutter salesman. Also, I had a couple of siding contractors look and they said the fascia was installed exactly as they would have done and the gutter hangers appeared to not have been adequately fastened to the rafter tails. read more

I called Matt's roofing over a week and a half ago and explained that I'm a realtor working on behalf of both seller and buyer and that the buyer needed to get an estimate on repairs so he could order them done after the closing. I thought I was VERY clear with Miranda over the phone. Her tone is one that really irritates from the first conversation. Everything she says seems to lead down the road of "We don't have time to do your job or We have too much business to NEED your job." I refer TONS of business to other subcontractors in the area and it would seem obvious to anyone in the service industry that a busy real estate agent is who you want to work with. Not Matt's roofing! She called me back just yesterday to say they would be going out to the house for the estimate but wanted to make sure the SELLER would be there. I reminded her that it was in fact the buyer that would be meeting them and she told me that they would be unable to do the estimate if the seller wasn't there. I explained again that this was an "as is" sale and the BUYER would be paying for the work and she just kept saying "it's our policy" "it's our policy" and yet I never could figure out exactly WHAT their policy was. She said it was OK for ME to meet the roofer out there which would do no good but not OK for the person paying. Matt's was recommended to me by a neighbor and I'll be sure to tell ALL of my neighbors NEVER to call this company. They don't want your business or ANY business evidently and are so short sided to not be able to see a golden egg when it is laid in front of them. I would NEVER have this woman represent my business. With people like her, they won't be around very much longer. read more

Matt himself came out for the quote and was very PROFESSIONAL, not pushy or sketchy like most of our previous quotes. do not hire these scam artists, my 80 year old grandmother called them out to fix her guttering so matt came out and said as she was paying cash it would be £800 then when he sent two of his guys out to do the job they then charged my grandmother another £600. the guttering has not been fixed and water is pouring down the wall that will soon cause damp so i called matt to tell him and he said someone will be out today or definitely tomorrow, this was 4 days ago, i have tried to call him and text him everyday to which he has just ignored me. i will be taking legal action. read more

I was actually behind one of the employees for Matt's roofing and I think it may have actually been Matt himself. He was in his work van at the stop sign in the Peachtree city WalMart parking lot area and my wife and I were behind him waiting for no less than 30 seconds before finally we honked the horn so we could all get moving and the driver got out of his vehicle in a threatening way and walked very quickly and directly towards our car. Had my my wife not had room to speed around his car we would have had to escalate things beyond what anyone wanted to witness that day. Hands down some of the most unprofessional behavior I have ever seen. Honestly a complete disgrace to the industry. read more

I have used Matt's in the past in several occasions for various problems from shingles that have blown off to more extensive roof repairs because of leaks. At that time they were a 5 star rating for sure. I probably could have gotten the work done for less, but I trusted them and knew they would get the job done when they said they would and it would be done right the first time. In the last round of storms, we had about 5 more shingles come off the roof, so I called to have them come take a look - nothing urgent, just before the next wave of storms comes through (which might be a long time the way this summer is going)... They called me back and said the job was too small and they basically couldn't be bothered with it! They did refer me to another company who came out promptly and took care of my problem with no more than about 15 minutes on the roof total. Needless to say, they'll be getting my future business, NOT Matt's! read more

As far as punctuality, professional, courteous, quick and affordable, I can say a definite 5 star. The workers were mindful of my property, landscape and worked cooperatively with others who were remodeling so that no one stepped on toes. Never...ever.....ever again. They seemed the most professional out of all the companies that answered the request for service. However, they performed a job at my home and the problem popped back up. Of course I called them back and they diagnosed the problem as something different than what was fixed the first time. Of course I was skeptical, stated that I would like to have a conversation with someone about the issue, but regardless i would like it fixed ....even if I have to pay extra. They never showed.....they never called. To make things worse is that I received a second opinion and pictures to proved that they misdiagnosed the issue and had me signed up for something that would not fix the problem. I was surprised by the negative reviews on this company because I had such a good experience. I thought my roof needed replacing but the sales person was able to give me a price to fix the part of my roof that was leaking. I thought originally it was hale damage. Come to find out it was cheap vents my builder had installed. Matt's Roofing did the repair over a year ago and I haven't had any problems since the work was completed. They showed up on time and their office communicated with me the entire time. Oh and they also replaced a gutter on the back of my house that was overflowing. The larger gutter has worked perfect. I called to request someone come out to let me know if the 15 year old roof needed repairs or to be replaced. The person who answered tried to steer me to a $150 inspection. I made it clear that I was looking for an estimate for possible services needed, no "inspection" was required. She asked again if I was sure that I didn't want an inspection.
