Then he was told he would be seen at noon. This is their idea of emergency care? How inhumane to let a dog suffer that long to be seen and treated. By the time he was seen he had to be put down. Of course he was offered procedures that cost thousands of dollars to find the problem even though it was too late. My opinion is this ER has compassionate staff but is run to be an uncaring money grab.

Had to have her put down just this morning, but my brother and I have been driving back and forth at least twice a week for the last three weeks to get her care. They were *always* able to accommodate her immediately and *always* able to provide the best care possible, given the circumstances. I could not have gotten this level of emergent care from any vet hospital in my home city (believe me, I tried). To doctors Wajda, Kwiatkowski, and Carbone, as well as the many receptionists, desk staff, and techs who helped us from our first visit until the end of her life: thank you. Thank you for allowing us to give Ophelia the best quality of life possible for the short time she had left, and thank you for all the tissues (though you may want to spring for 2-ply in the future).
