The quality and selection of furniture is awesome but what really made the most impact on me was meeting Orlando, who made me feel so very pampered and as if he was my own personal decorator which I have never had before. He has a very kind and warm and steady temperament and cares beyond what feels as if it's a job. he responded to me when he wasn't working, he helped me quiet my anxiety when I thought my chandelier might be too large for the space, ( it wasn't) and throughout the whole process made me feel like we were in this together. I thought Orlando was trying to feel my style and not just what works in the space. He was respectful of my budget and truly only wanted to see me happy and satisfied. Nearly a full month passed without a single logistical step being taken to fulfill our purchase. On February 6th, we canceled the order. MH2G then informed us -- via a form email -- that a 25% restocking fee had been deducted from our refund, per their cancellation policy. We formally disputed this in writing, pointing out the obvious: a restocking fee presupposes that merchandise was stocked, shipped, or handled in some way that incurs real cost to the retailer. None of that occurred. The items were never in a warehouse. They were never assigned a delivery appointment. MH2G had nearly 30 days to act and did nothing. Co-owner Julissa De Los Santos responded with a form letter citing their policy and suggesting a store credit as a "one-time courtesy." When we accepted -- conditionally, asking only that two specific lamps be delivered within a week -- that good-faith offer was met with silence. We have since initiated a chargeback with American Express and are filing complaints with the Florida Attorney General's consumer protection division and the Better Business Bureau. The store has a nice mix of moderate and modern pieces. It's a little different than the Boca store, smaller in size with 2 full floors and not as much designer and custom options. The one thing it does have in common is the customer service. Galina was very helpful. They didn't have what I was looking for but she did show me a couch that definitely caught my eye. Buyers beware. We saw a leather occasional chair on 12 October 2025 and ordered 2 of them (our…read moresalesperson, Isabel, was very nice) - they were delivered on 20 October. One chair was uneven and it was replaced on 31 October. Within a month we noticed that the leather seats were puddling creating a permanent indent (we have all leather furniture in our apartment, some 10 years old, and we have never had this issue). We also noticed that the finish on the stainless steel arms was wearing off. We contacted the store several times and the manager, Carlos, finally came out in January 2026. He agreed that there was an issue with the arms and that he would have a tech come out - he seemed concerned about the puddling, but didn't commit to any possible reason. After a few more phone calls, a service tech came out. She indicated that arms could be remedied, but that the puddling should not have occurred. She checked the tag under the seat of the chairs and mentioned that it appeared that the chairs we had were not the chairs we ordered! She called into her supervisor - we do not know what was said as the conversation occurred entirely in Spanish. We later received an email from the service supervisor stating that nothing would be done as the sale was an "as is" purchase! What?? We were not told this when we purchased them and we did not take them with us as you would on an "as is" sale. We called the supervisor and store manager several times to no avail. We had dealt with Scan in the past, but never again.

Met with Joel who went over everything with us, which put me at ease because I had no idea what we wanted for our new flooring. He was honest and came to our house after work hours to take measurements. From start to finish, the crew installed our new flooring in 3 days.
