Wow - I am blown away by Adio Chiropractic! Dr. Stickle is a genius and I mean it when I say that. The clinic itself is amazing and the vibe is pretty incredible when you walk in the door - tons of equipment, clean and bright. They have their system down and it works and yet you don't feel like a number walking though the door. I feel like I won the lotto jackpot by Googling and finding them. I had another experience in town the week before my first visit with them and while that was a lovely group of people, my practitioner there did not have the experience or finesse of Dr. Stickle - not even close. No, I did not have a "great experience!" I am writing this for those who may appreciate a Chiro that actually asks questions based on the forms the office had me fill out, who takes some time to hear me, who gives adjustments based on the individual rather then the herding mentality. I felt rushed, I told Stickel and Zak. It went right over Stickel now Zak listened and provided compassionate options. There were so many red flags and now I wished I had mustered the courage to speak with confidence at my first visit. Stickel gave me a whirlwind of adjustments the first visit without going over my findings rather I guess he glimpsed at them but would not share them with me. I totally regret allowing this to happen for my body has been and still is in severe pain from all those adjustments over a week ago! A lil soreness a few days after can be expected however not severe for over a week. He was too aggressive and arrogant. Stickel could or would not tell me his method of adjustments in spite of his website listing several when I inquired multiple xxs. His reply, it is the Pettibon System. Again when I tried thru more questions to get an understanding of his method he then said, " It was the Stickel Technique." I have since discovered on my own that the Pettibon System is a system of utilizing tools and apparatuses in a nut shell. I was charged 40 bucks for what I am not certain along with my insurance. I have no clue what they charged it. Second visit did go over findings really quickly and when I began to ask questions he switched the topic to adjusting me. I told him I was not getting another one for my body was still in recovery of the day before. Again I had more questions but he flat out said, "he did not have time for them as he was herding me out of the room. Told me to write them down and he would call later. Stickel took no consideration to my individual body and needs and never did call and that's ok, I do not want to speak with him. So I summarize with the answer of a question I received in a text and email that arrived on my phone from Adio before I even left their building. No, I did not have a great experience! I walked in..(Barely) with unimaginable pain in lower back, and hunched over like a very old man with a slipped disc. I Left walking upright, and with very light and manageable pain. They contribute to every bad stereotype associated with chiropractics. My consultation felt like an infographic and their office is covered in over the top marketing materials. It is evident that what they care most about is pushing on you their costly 5 core beliefs instead of treating you with care, compassion and empathy. I'm disturbed by their insensitive approach and highly recommend you look elsewhere for care. read more
